I've been here several times and had several different people do my nails. I've never had a bad experience and the acrylics always last so long with no lifting! I've gone to high end nail places that cost 3x as much and didn't get as good of an outcome as here. They recently upgraded their pedi chairs and furniture. I would recommend.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR GELX! I was staying in Marin for the week and needed to get a new set before a trip and unfortunately decided to come here. My initial experience was super pleasant and they even did chrome finish on my nails. However, a few hours after I got my nails done, one fell off! This has NEVER happened to me, but I figured it was a fluke and called them the next day and they were happy to fix.The issue is that two days later, I had THREE more nails (different than the first one that was fixed) fall off! I have been getting GelX for years and have never had this happen to me! I called to get a refund because I didn't want to go back to them to fix it since it seems to be a recurring issue--one is a fluke, four in total is a major issue. They refused to give me a refund, so I had to go back to them to fix it unless I wanted to pay twice (plus the cost to soak off). I went back and they redid all my nails but now two days after getting the final fix ANOTHER nail fell off!! I honestly don't understand what the issue is because this has never happened when I go to my regular salon. Will never be returning here. I'm not one to write reviews but I was just so upset by this experience.

If you are in the San Rafael area- make this your go-to for pedicures!!!! I'm visiting from the Sacramento area and my significant other and I decided to get pedicures- this place was the highest rated so I made an appointment (same day might I add) for us. Started off a little slow but I realized it was because they put 100% into each and every client. Not only were the ladies working on our toes kind, it was genuinely one of the most gentle pedicures I've ever had. No rough cuticle scraping, no overly ticklish foot scrubbing, just care put into every action. If you have sensitive feet like me, this place is a dream come true. On top of the fabulous service, the price was incredible- 35 for an amazing pedicure? I've paid 50+ for the attention to detail they paid. I'm super picky about how my nails are done and Annie's nailed it. TLDR: Annie's is incredible for pedicures, provides gentle service, and has better pricing. Check them out!!

Best mani-pedi in Marin; hands down! Wyn was professional, easy to chat with, and extremely experienced. My daughter also got a full set of acrylics and they look beautiful.

I was excited to find a great nail salon closer to my house and was motivated by the reviews but alas, this is not it. While the manicurist was nice, the manicure had some key issues and I will not return as a result. First and foremost, this salon does dip manicures by dipping each patron's nails into the same pots, over an over again; this is not a sanitary practice and can lead to the spread of fungal infections (no thank you!). The salon was nice enough to accommodate my request not to dip in the communal pots, but I doubt they would do the same thing every time. I will be looking for a salon that, as standard practice, either brushes on powder or dips in little disposable paper cups so there is no communal use of the dip pots. Also, very importantly, the manicurist didn't even look at my nail beds, didn't soak my nails or push back my cuticles, and took no care to make sure the nails were properly prepped for polish. When I asked her about pushing back my cuticles she quickly said they were fine and dry cut a few rough edges (ouch!), which is not what I wanted at all - cutting the cuticle results in very dry, peeling fingers every time. When I got home, I soaked and just pushed my cuticles back (in the process having to deal with some of the cuticles having been painted) which has left a sizable gap between my cuticle and the polish. Failing to push back the cuticle also means the manicure will not last as long and since that is the whole point of a dip manicure for me, this was a major issue. Finally, the manicurist filed my nails so hard that she sliced the skin on the sides of my nails on a few fingers with her emory board - no blood was drawn, but it stung for days as it healed. The cost was also $55 - $10 more than the posted price for French tips - which they did not tell me ahead of time, and included no pushing back of or care of my cuticles, massage, or anything else other than filing and polish. I would absolutely recommend that you go elsewhere for a manicure.

I decided to pamper myself with a well needed pedicure after a particularly difficult week that included my 87 yr old mother fracturing her ribs. Apparently the owner was away, and I was given the 'fastest peddy in the west.' Didn't even bother look at my nail bed cuticles. 2 days later I soaked in a bath, pushed them back gently myself, and now there's ¼" at the base of my nails with no polish leaving it looking awful. I JUST got this pedicure! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I literally need to redo this pedicure asap, or have nails that look like crap. LESS THAN 2 DAYS LATER.

The worst manicure I’ve ever had. Chipped after two days. I wanted gel and they said they didn’t have time? The inside is very busy with clutter and ugly. I felt uncomfortable during my experience. They rushed through and were on the top end of price for a basic manicure. I live up the street and would never recommend or go here again. They need to clean up the space.

Great place outside downtown area. Two technicians in calm relaxing place. Extremely courteous and beautiful job. I had a dip mani at some other place that did very poor job. This time perfect. Made my next appointment and highly recommend

As Annie's was voted best in Marin for 2021 I decided to book pedicure appointments for 3. When we got there only two people were working and one of our party had to wait till they were finished with the other two. It felt rushed minimal and it was an adequate job. It is a more no frills place and the price are low. For me I would have loved a bit more attention and options for different kinds of pedicures. Im willing to pay a bit more to feel pampered.
