Asian Market is the best Asian grocery store in Marin and the only Asian store in San Rafael/Marin. It is an Asian food market for Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Filipino food ingredients. It is great for all the base ingredients for those cuisines, with a good selection of items you cannot find in surrounding area stores. The Asian snacks and ingredients are unmatched, including many different Asian cooking sauces and some obscure fresh vegetables. It is a 10/10 store for something other than standard American fare. Marin's best Asian market offers fresh noodles, including fresh egg noodles from San Francisco, and a small offering of dim sum on the weekends. Saturdays are a favorite day to visit because they offer goodies like dim sum and steamed buns at checkout. The owners are super nice, very friendly, and hardworking, always giving a warm welcome and being willing to help find items. The market is a beloved place with excellent products, and if they do not have an item, you would need to go to San Francisco.
