ATM only. No lobby access. They have many locations closed in Marin and advertise as open until 4pm. We went to two locations at 215 and 235pm on Wednesday and both lobbies were NOT open. Doors locked

I wish I could give negative stars. (Real question) Anyone else out there ever try to desperately reach a national bank (through all means- online/store/etc) and be unable to even send a direct message much less get a real person? (Including during business hours). I spent 4 days full-time before I got a human to help me. I'm unemployed since covid, so it was really scary. I had to hold off getting my medication since I didn't have the funds. Thank god it wasn't any longer.

Never has cash in the ATM machine get off your lazy butts and re-fill it. The branch is closed so why are you charging monthly fees on accounts, when you can't even get any cash? It's pathetic the lack of service that you provide!

I've had so many bad experiences with this branch for all these years I come here. They seems to always short of staff. A lot of the time, there is only one person at a register (even weekdays) and the line is of course very long. Sometimes, there are a few bankers behind the counter but they only open one or two registers with additional staff chit chat behind the counter. Another time, there is a banker sitting inside the office playing with his/her phone, while customers are waiting on a long line. You will always have to make an appointment to meet with any relationship banker at this branch. Otherwise, they will tell you to wait for at least 45 mins with no guarantee. I've been with BofA for so many years. I'm also a preferred reward platinum customer. I'm always being treated nicely when I call 1800 number. But this branch is a joke, they way the staff/manager treat their customers here. For instance, the one and only lady worked behind the counter on Thurs Jan 31 around 10 AM. She doesn't have customer skills. She has no sympathy and has altitude of you just need to wait if you don't have any appointment. I have safe deposit box in this branch, investment accounts, several personal and business bank accounts with BofA. This branch really pushed me to the edge. Recently, I decided to close down my safe deposit box and Merrill Edge investment account completely and moved all my bank accounts to CHASE. With Chase, the minute I walk in, there is always a person greeting and ask what can they help. Also, being a tiered level client with Chase, They really deliver excellent customer service. I'm always being treated nicely and professionally with Chase.

The worst bank ever by far in Marin county! I call to try to speak to the bank manager two days in a row before placing my complaint on Yelp and I was unable to reach them how surprising. I went there as a customer to cash my payroll check and they treated me like a criminal. I will not choose him as a bank going forward in the future I will keep my bank that I have. I have been to other Bank of Americas in Marin county specifically the one downtown in San Rafael and I have have no problem and they are a better location . This Bank of America location is appalling and their customer service is horrible. If you cannot go there do not go there. Save your time and your energy and look for a better banking experience.

Went in to get a direct deposit form, waited in line for 15 min for the teller to instruct me to wait on the couch for someone else. When I spoke to another employee she sent me back to the end of the line I just came out of. Then the teller tells me to, "get checks" for an account that doesn't even offer checks as a feature. Wasted my entire lunch break trying to get a piece of paper. Other BofA locations have had NO PROBLEM printing this for me in the past. I've experienced BofAs all over the San Jose area and Petaluma area and have never had anything negative to say about BofA until today. Thanks for your incompetency and rude attitude, Marin county BofA!

This is the worst branch if Bank of America. If you need to go in for any reason prepare to wait 30 minutes or more. They are never staffed for the amount if people they have coming in and they don't seem to care.

I have been trying to call them unsuccessfully for hours to get a human to let me know if they provide medallion signature service at this location. When you push 4 to get someone, the phone rings about 4 times, goes back to message all are busy, and there is never a way to leave a message, be on hold, or get any sort of response. Quite a way to run a service business. Incredible. When I have the time, I am moving my $ to somewhere they actually provide you with something (especially since B of A gives you very low rates on your savings relative to others). Stay away! (from a 30+ year customer!).

I have been using this Bank of America for the last 20 years. It wasn't until my husband started his own business that my opinion of them changed. I never liked the long lines to get to the counter. However-their bank managers and loan officers that we have dealt with in the last five years have been great.

First off, I have to say that I TOTALLY agree with Jeff W. about Marleny having a serious attitude. I am a former teller of this branch, and I have to say that the only people that made my experience there worth while were the former manager, Eugene Patterson as well as my daily clients. If it wasn't for their hospitality and positive attitudes, I probably would have driven myself crazy a lot earlier. The thing is I have too much stuff in my life going on right now for me to switch banks otherwise I would totally move my accounts elsewhere. While I was on the other side of the counter here, I still saw SUPER long lines and it took ALOT of complaints to get that fixed. I feel like the bankers at this branch were just motivated by meeting their sales goals and NOT customer service. Seriously, if you offer someone something like a credit card and they decline, you don't need three people to come over to pressure them to buy it. The only reason I am staying with BofA is because if the experience that I had with Eugene and Ben of the San Rafael branch for reversing my overdraft fees. They obviously weren't sensitive to the fact that I was a disabled transgendered employee. They respected the transgender part, but NOT the disabled part. If you don't want to wait in a LONG line, please go to the San Rafael and Novato branch. You will save ALOT of time. It's about customer service and NOT only meeting your sales quota. I'm hoping one day BofA will change their slogan like Wells Fargo and reestablish themselves for the client and not focusing on sales. Without your clients, you wouldn't be open.
