Branch manager Danielle is extremely rude and unprofessional. I was not communicated what was going on and it led to a huge mishap, then to be told by her that my employee is not available for you? It's astonishing to me how bank employees are in the business because customers like myself choose them as a provider. Employees like Danielle do not understand the concept of customer service, it's really sad that that's the face of this branch. She really needs a lot of additional training.

Poor service. No banker available, will not reply to email or phone. Avoid this location.

Terrible because there is no competent banker at this location. Avoid this chase bank location. Inside there are a few tellers who can't tell you cd rates.

Trash bank. I'd give all to Chase 0 stars if possible. Go with a local Credit Union instead.

I opened an account at Chase after selling my house - at one point I had hundreds of thousands of dollars in my account. Then they randomly starting charging me a service fees of $35 per month, I found out after several months and they refused to reverse all the charges. Last week I deposited a check for $5k and they told me it would take 10 days to clear (its perfectly good, from my son in Texas) . After calling the 800# and being treated rudely, mansplained, I then went down to the branch talked to the manager and was told to call the 800# again. I am totally disgusted - as soon as the check clears I will be moving my money over to WF which is where I do my primary banking. I was also planning to get a cc with them but I'll now go elsewhere...

The manager is actually terrible. Very poor manners and highly rude. She needs to be fired immediately. Worst customer service ever. Nobody deserves to work for her. She's horrible.

Well, that was a very disappointing banking experience. I have multiple accounts at CHASE, and one of them was compromised. So, I went into the San Rafael branch on 4th Street, and in essence was brushed off by the banker, and told, and I quote, " I have an appointment with someone else, another client". Well I responded, "could someone else help". Stunned and stupefied, given the gravity of the situation, ($6K disappearing from an account) plus the extreme lack of professionalism, I then gained the attention of the bank teller. Perhaps as I was comfortably dressed up on my day off, vs my professional attire, there was a disconnect on customer service. Yet, having managed and co-owned a business, that should not have happened. Finally, a male teller, sensing my distress and disappointment, had the common sense to assist me. At this point, I needed to find someone that could expedite solutions. Given the aloof and polarizing banker at the San Rafael branch, the male teller managed to contact someone in Terra Linda, provide me with an address and contact, so we could at least find some solutions and get resolutions. I raced up farther north to resolve the immediate problem, and Jon D was efficient and sympathetic to my plight. So very disappointing to watch the utter lack of respect and attention to customer service at Fourth Street San Rafael.

I left this bank a long time ago because of its poor service and have been happier at a Credit Union nearby. Money I have in my account now goes to helping the community I live in rather than to help Chase destroy the planet. Chase is the number 1 funder of fossil fuel infrastructure and, thus, pollution which makes people die more often because pollution attack the exact same place as COVID19 in the lungs while also accelerating Climate Breakdown.

I've been a Chase client for about 15 years and usually have received excellent service...I have simple transactions and about 6 accounts with them. Chase recently closed one the the accounts I was managing for someone else back on Feb 1st. After multiple calls and visits, I've been promised the check for the amount in the account ( over $3K) on 5 different occasions. The bank tellers are very kind and trying to be helpful however their hands are tied because it's in the control of the - you guessed it - "Back office". At one point, I spoke to a woman on the phone at the branch. When I asked her who the manager was, she referred to herself in the third person, hoping I wouldn't notice. When I did, I said "so you're the manager", she acknowledged sheepishly. The only thing they can tell me is it takes up to 10 business days to receive a check. They told me the checks had been returned (twice now) as "undeliverable" - wow - during that time, I received my statements and a new debit card. When I ask them to provide me with a tracking number, they tell they can't. What mail in the US takes 10 business days?!? Or 40 for that matter?? As I sit here writing this review, I am told they're going to send a check to the branch & I should receive the internal check within 10 business days (WTF Chase?!?!) ....not gong to bet my life on it but what I will do is write a negative review, reach out to Michael Finney - On Your Side and the Better Business Bureau. I'll be closing my accounts and going down the street to Wells Fargo when this is situation is "resolved" And to think I've recommended Chase and have been one of their biggest cheerleaders to other people. Not anymore. I hate writing a negative review but seriously Chase?!?

Branch manager is a liar. Caught her in a blatant lie today. I called other branches and spoke to managers to verify she was in fact a liar. She uses the term "Its a New Policy" about everything to avoid confrontation. When I got back in line to call her out on her lies, she said the exact same thing to another customer in front of me regarding an entirely different thing.... This is not the way clients should be treated, especially Chase clients of 8 years+. She caused me a lot of problems today in my personal life all because of her made up policy. I reported her and will continue to follow up until something is done.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Worst customer service I've ever had at any chase bank. I'm a chase CC holder I went into this branch looking to open a personal checking and Business Checking account. I've been a business owner for over 10 years so I know exactly what's needed to open a business account as a sole proprietor. I wanted to switch everything over to Chase. I meet with a woman with a disease sounding first name MRSA.. she went on to tell me sounds like you don't need a business account since you don't have any employees and I would need all these documents(I had my business license and proper documents) "assuming your a citizen"...WTF your the one with the accent why would you question my citizenship?!!? "And besides I don't have time to open any account today each one takes an hour" (she had a major attitude)ok, bye B! Walked down the street to BofA same info and documents and had a business and personal account opened no problem...Chase really?!? Get your $hit together!
