I pumped gas with the pump trigger lock engaged. Next thing I know my gas tank overflows with premium gas spilling all over the concrete. I realize the automatic shutoff doesn’t work on the pump so I have to manually disengage the pump trigger lock. At this point, gasoline has gotten all over my hands and clothes. I go inside and the worker says he can’t do anything about it because it’s self serve. I point out his pump is not functioning properly because it’s supposed to automatically shut off pumping when my tank is full which it didn’t do. The worker kept repeating he couldn’t do anything - no partial refund no nothing. Terrible experience! Gas stations are responsible for maintaining the gas pump equipment and any loss from malfunctioning equipment is the fault of the gas station owner - the customer should not have to pay for that.

Place is 24hr but I visit at 1am, 3am and 4am thru tuesday and Wednesday and the store was close.

Went to gas station this morning. Greeted by a very rude older man ( not sure if the owner). Made a mistake about the gas pump I was at and ready to argue with me. Before that, he was arguing and dismissing a young man that was in line before me. Terrible personal skills and customer service. This is a sure way to lose customers since there are 3 other gas stations in the same corner. Won't be taking my business there again, any time in the foreseeable future. I'm giving 1 star, only because I can't give zero stars.

I have an EV so this review is for the store “Extra Mile” I usually have a decent experience when getting things here but don’t go late because the employ that works the late shift is gone a lot. On one trip I actually realized he was in his car parked right in front but his illegal side window tint makes it a nice place for him to hide and sit on his phone. He must take a lot of breaks because on several occasions the store was not attended at later hours. I don’t understand what he needs a break from. The store is usually empty most of the time after 11pm. The manager even commented on his attendance when I asked when they closed so maybe they will replace him eventually with someone that isn’t always slacking.

Stood at the counter for a couple minutes before the guy sitting behind the counter eating candy and watching something on his phone even acknowledged that I was there, then he walked to the other register didn’t even say a word. You would think he would say I can help you over here ?. So I had to move my stuff to next register which he couldn’t check me out on for some reason, so I ended up at the register I was at the first time. Then he knocked my bottle of soda over shaking it up

Pumped gas and went into the store to the chevron to purchase a drink and one snack. I handed him $7.00 He rang me up and it seemed sort of expensive so I asked for a receipt. He sat there for 10 minutes at the cash register. Until I said please cancel my purchase. I was expecting him to return the $7.00 but he claimed he could not. I waited and waited and waited but he still claimed he could not open the cash register drawer. He called someone on the phone but still refused to refund me my $7.00. I finally left because I was running late for work at 6:20 in the morning. I was never refunded my $7.00. I tried to call the manger, but no one picked up the line.It was a ripoff. I wish I had the time to call the police. But 7 dollars seemed like a small amount and I had pressing work matters to attend to that morning. Really bizarre situation.

I fill up my tank and go in to get a cup of coffee. The next day I take my cup back to get a refill and was told no refills until I buy a cup each day…. Back to Arco!!

This wonderful associate Decided to tell me that He could not separate my lottery tickets from my gas purchase because he already rang it up. He refused and said I had to pay for it like that. I said “you’re not able to cancel or anything remove something from my purchase?” And very rudely said “no!” so I walked out and didn’t buy anything . It as $120 purchase went across the st to shell.On the way out I shouted “looks like you’re gonna have to learn how to do it today”
