Bought gold bracelet for my gf. Seemed way overpriced and it was but I figured ehh, lets support the jewelry store trying to make it in a dead mall. The next day when I tried to put it on her it literally fell apart at the initial link. I called him and he said just bring it back and he'll take a look. He told me not the be rough with it. When I brought it back he charged me for repair. It looked like he had welded together it himself. The link was welded to the clip as shown in picture and halfway through the metal link it just bends like it's going to fall apart. Overall just seemed like all he cared about was making a quick buck.

UNETHICAL salesperson and/or owner, DO NOT TRUST. My 87 yr old mother (has dementia) went in there with her caregiver to look around. They were out walking the mall so my mother could get exercise and stopped in the store. The owner or salesperson showed her some fake pearls. My mother said she wanted to buy them, but her caretaker told her that she should wait until I (her daughter) am able to go with her since it was a large purchase and she was not comfortable with her making this purchase without me. Unlike most salespeople who understand right away when they hear that, this salesperson/owner took advantage of the situation and continued to push the sale onto my mother. The caretaker was so upset that she finally told the salesperson that her client is cognitively impaired and has memory issues so she did not want him to sell the necklace to her and that my mother could come back tomorrow with her daughter, who is also her power of attorney, to make the purchase. The salesperson then proceeded to tell the caretaker that my mother had “worked hard for her money and she should be able to spend it any way she likes”. Then continued to push my mother to buy the necklace and "oh, let me show you some matching earrings and a ring!" Luckily, my mother just decided to buy the necklace and not the whole set.I went in the next day with a man to back me up and asked to return the necklace and get a full refund. He proceeded to argue with me and tell me that my mother "should not be out and about making purchases if she's not allowed to buy things herself"!!! I told him that it is not up for him to decide what my mother does. Luckily, the man I was with told the salesperson/owner that we don't want to argue, just take the necklace back and give us the refund. The refund is supposed to be in progress, but I will dispute it with the credit card company if it is not refunded.I was so beside myself that he would take advantage of an 87 yr old lady with dementia to make a sale and then argue with me about it, that I asked him if he has a mother and hopefully nobody treats his mother the way he treated mine. Honestly, if I hadn't come in with a man, this man would not have refunded me the sale. He should be ashamed of himself.Totally unethical, immoral man. Do not buy from this store.

I went to them to have a battery replaced. I called first for price. They said $20. On arrival before handing over the watch I asked again and they said $30. I told them I called. They reduced the price. After this I never went back again.

The owner is a con , he preys on elderly women amd aggressively sells you his fake jewelry. A ring my elderly friend bought for me was what he called blue topaz . After the first week the blue color faded to a green color . It's all fake! As he was handing me the ring the supposed stone came flying out of the setting and hr says " oh I can glue it in!" Don't waste your time gong in to this store, You'll just be buying a colored piece of glass. The owner is just a scam artist scum bag. One star is one too many to give him he doesn't deserve any stars

Five stars for the sales man that was so very patient with my 88 year old mother as she tried on SO many rings. In addition to the costume jewelry, they had some lovely antique pieces. Thank you!

Whatever you do, don't listen to these people. I have a titanium rung stuck on my finger. I call to see if they have something to remove it. They guy working says "Sure, but it requires special tools that my jeweler has to bring, so it will be $75." I know that it requires a diamond blade and a dremel, so sure seems fair. After some back and forth because apparently the jeweler only comes through now and again, He says he can get me in at 2:00 the next day, but it will actually be $85 because of the specialized tools, etc... Ok whatever just get the ring off. I show up at 2, the jeweler is 15 minutes late. I get up ready to follow him to the back. He comes over with a wire...slides it under my ring and pulls out a pair of WIRE-CUTTERS and proceeds to try and cut a titanium ring with WIRE-CUTTERS. I say "Mate, that is titanium, wire-cutters are not going to do it"...so he pulls out a jewelers hacksaw...a HACKSAW..at that point i realize...maybe this guy doesn't know what he's doing....and maybe i better get out while i still have the finger. CLEARLY they have zero idea what they are doing, and a hacksaw and wirecutters are NOT specialized tools for titanium ring removing. They were trying to take advantage of a situation and make money off of someone who was in a bind. If he had a dremel and a diamond blade, that is 100% worth paying him $85, but any ring that can be cut with wire-cutters can be taken off at the fire house for free. Very shady place and they clearly will screw anyone over to make a buck, so keep that in mind when you shop there and don't trust a word they say.

We took a family heirloom wedding ring in for re-sizing. 1 center diamond and 6 small stones on either side. Admittedly it was a large-ish downsizing from almost an 8 to a size 7. It cost $95. It should have raised a red flag larger when he called back within a couple of hours to say it was done. My fiancee wore the ring for a couple of days, and thought it felt a little tight - a size 7 felt right in the store, but maybe it was sized too small? Maybe there was room to get it adjusted up a little at no or minimal charge, after the $95 initial sizing? My fiancee received a very gendered response - she must have done something wrong when trying on rings, tried on a size too small (He was the one who said "This is a size 7 ring, try it on." !!) and he basically brushed off any responsibility to help or do anything for us. A day later or so, I called myself, and, as a man, received a very different response. More receptive to helping. By that time, we were unhappy with the overall experience - it was a very dry, clinical experience given the context of working with a family heirloom for a special moment, and the gender dynamics compounded the problem. She tried the ring on in the moment, and felt a little looser, so we agreed she would wear it again for a bit before taking it back to be sized-up, to make sure it was the right thing to do. Within a week of wearing it, not even daily, one of the small diamonds fell out and was lost. Gone. This is a decades-old family heirloom. I took the ring to a different, highly recommended, jeweler in another town, and on close inspection - see the pictures - it looks like when they re-sized the ring, they very crudely crimped the ring down and broke the setting for the stone that was lost. It's hard to see in the picture, but on close inspection, I could see a crack in the setting. So, now, after spending $95 on a sizing, I have to spend another couple hundred dollars for a repair and stone replacement, and to have the size adjusted. My fiancee: "I wish I had gotten a more professional recommendation [from him] on the variations of ring size from day to day due to swelling, water retention, etc." (She doesn't wear rings 24 hrs/day due to her profession.) This shop's unprofessional demeanor and practice, and lack of craftsmanship and care cost me $95 in a sizing, which I would have gladly paid had it not caused the loss of a stone, plus another couple hundred dollars to have his damage repaired. An heirloom has been damaged, and we're without the enjoyment of the ring while his damage is repaired.

I have had probably 15 watch batteries replaced here over the years (for me, my wife, my mom...all of us have several watches). The batteries each lasted years. I have have never experienced any of the problems some others are alleging. Also, the price charged is very reasonable, and the service is done on the spot and quickly. The same goes for watch straps and bracelets, both replacement of watch straps and sizing of watch bracelets is quick and reasonably priced. Ditto for jewelry repair. What's more, the owner is always very pleasant and friendly. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE to shop for jewelry, get jewelry repaired, get watch straps and watch batteries replaced.
