I've not been to Home Depot in quite a few years. Today, I walked through the doors, I noticed how organized this location was. I had a quick look around and realized, I needed help with not only answering a few questions about toilets, but getting the toilet I ultimately chose to the cash register. I found a gentleman named Brock, who answered all my questions about what they had in stock. He also helped with the handle for the shower. I felt like a VIP working with this man who ultimately asked for extra assistance from David, his coworker to put it in my car. Come to find out, Brock was the manager of this location. Thank you so much Brock and David for making my experience at Home Depot pleasant!

We recently ordered over $30K in new windows and window coverings from Home Depot in San Rafael. The windows and coverings were recently installed; however, one window badly leaked and ruined the window covering. It took awhile but someone did come back to caulk the window and said he would return, but he didn't. In the meantime we have attempted to get Home Depot to replace the ruined window covering. The San Rafael store says they are not responsible and suggested we call their subcontractor, who also said they are not responsible. After spending 3 hours of making calls to over 6 different people and numbers, no one is interested in solving the problem. I will not order any work or materials from Home Depot ...they outsource the work to completely irresponsible subs and no one takes responsibility after Home Depot get our money.

Bad day at Home Depot San Rafael. Went to look at apartment sized washer dryer units. Had my shopping cart and turned down an isle that was pretty narrow. At the end of the isle, refrigerators were lined up so close to each other, I was trapped at the end of the isle with limited ability to turn around with the cart. Mentioned to a sales person sitting at his desk searching the internet that this situation was a fire hazard. He never even blinked. So, I left the cart where it was and headed to the window shade department and selected one that needed to be cut to size. Walked all around to find someone to cut the shade. Found another sitting person at a desk and inquired about cutting. He said there was already someone waiting ahead of me and that help had already been summoned. I asked the waiting customer how long he had been waiting for help and he said about 10 minutes. At least he was sitting in a comfortable chair. I took this as a sign that my HD visit was a bust and left.

Very disappointed with my visit. Garden area closed but still managed to get what I needed so I went to check out. Only two registers open, sell check out area was also closed. Over 20 people waiting to pay for merchandise. I refused to wait. I can get what I need elsewhere.

I ordered a bureau though Home Depot in December. I called them 2 weeks later because the order did not go through. I told them to cancel the order via the phone and I order another bureau. I receive a note that the order was shipped. We received the order on 1/12/24. The delivery was bad. They knock on the door. I got they within a minute. They left the bureau in the box on my front porch. They were running back to the truck. It took us at least and hour to get it out of the box and the we had to get in the room. There were feet had to put them on the bureau but the screw were not there. I called your service and that is were I discovery that the one I had cancelled and arrived! They still had he second order was coming but I had to cancel it. I will be using other companies in the future.

Online Inventory doesn't match what's in the store.Example: Online said certain Terra cotta pots were available at this location. When I got there, there were NO pots at all. Sales associate said they haven't had any for months. When asked why they said they were available online, he didn't know. Things looked disorganized as well.

Went today about 3pm today for 2x4s, 2x3s, some R-19 insulation and 1/2" 4x8 insulation boards. They didn't have anything on the floor, despite their app saying they have quantities in stock. It's a tough store to find someone to go get stock from the storage rooms and generally they don't comeback. I used to think if I came back in a day or so they'd refill the shelves but I've been waiting 2 weeks for them to refill the 1/2" insulation board and they haven't, just piled some crap in front. Lowe's, please move closer because HD here just doesn't care to do the job.

I am remodeling my bathroom and using HD for everything. Mostly it's been good as I've been ordering on line and having deliveries.Except for tile.Two trips with the first one typical for the Depot, questionable service.The 2nd trip to purchase the tile was outstanding though. The person that helped me, Anabella was just GREAT!They had just a limited supply of the tile I wanted and Anabelle dug in and found me enough tile for the project.Thanks so much Anabelle!

No available customer service while at store. No one answers the phone if you call ahead. Neither the Store or the Pro Service phones were answered. No Apple Pay (Wallet) accepted at register.Thought we'd give the store a try after a year. Whoops. Nothing's changed.

I go to this Home Depot every couple of weeks and usually I find it reasonable for a big box store. But TODAY ... oh my ... what a mess. I would have sent an email directly to HD rather than this public venue, but your web site doesn't offer that option. I don't want to call and I don't want to chat about it. So, that's my first bit of feedback. I went there Sunday, Oct 29 around 3pm.I knew something was off when a customer walked by me and said, "I love shopping at this store", dripping with sarcasm. All I wanted to do was exchange 3 propane canisters. As instructed by the sign, I left my old ones outside and went inside to buy the exchange. I needed to get in line at the regular checkout because I had nothing to scan, so I lined up in front of regular checkout, severals aisles down from the much larger self checkout area.As I approached the cashier she yelled, "Sir! Aisle 14! The line is at aisle 14!". The problem is that aisle 14 is right in front of self checkout. That's obviously the place you want to be for self checkout, but very far away from the lone little regular checkout. But, dutifully, myself and a handful of equally confused people walk down to aisle 14 to get in line. Just as we did, the cashier who yelled at me took the people who had been standing right behind me in front of regular checkout. What the?!?!? In other words, the cashier sent some of us over to aisle 14 and took others who were behind us in our line. More confusion ensues among the refugees who had moved over. At this point I start yelling, "Y'all aren't organized! You are mixing up the line and for self and regular checkout and it's not working." The cashier starts saying to me, "It's organized. It's organized." No amount of explaining elicited anything from her other than "It's organized", like if she said it enough times it would magically become true.I get called back to regular checkout. I asked for 3 propane exchanges. "Where are your old canisters?", she asks. "Outside", I respond. "Then you are buying new canisters", she retorts. "No, I want exchanges". She starts to argue with me and I have to explain in a pretty firm voice that I did exactly what the sign told me to do and I don't want new cans and I want exchanges, before somebody finally comes over and straightens her out. I pay for my exchanges. She's ready to send me on my way when I ask, "Who will come to give me the canister?". "Go to customer service", she says, Great. Now I'm in yet another line that is viciously long, waiting for yet another cashier who is very confused by the fact that I'm not returning anything and have already paid for something and doesn't understand why I am there.It was so bad that one fellow customer going through similar trials turns to me as I head over to customer service and says, "Good luck, brother."So, like I said, I've been there many times and sometimes folks on the floor are genuinely helpful and cashiers do their thing. But today was a show of incompetence and I thought you should know.

I bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator online from Home Depot. The installer did not level the fridge. It rocks back and forth and when I open the door, the fridge pulls away from the wall. Installer told me I had to fix it myself. I immediately called Home Depot's hotline that day to have someone return and fix it. They were a NO SHOW four times, with me waiting through their four-hour time window. On the 5th visit, they said I needed a replacement fridge. It took a month but I got a new fridge and it has no problems.

had metal cab delivered to house. Home Depot failed to deliver and instead left it across the side sidewalk in front of the house. unit severely damaged. The unit was left across the sidewalk - not in my yard, no knock on the door. I have emailed, called, and had no response. thanks, Home Depot for the large paperweight an the hassle of getting unusable unit swapped.
