The stylist that we were given actually knew how to handle my son's mixed race hair. She was almost twenty dollars less than the barber shop and cut it exactly like the picture we showed her. I think the name on the receipt was dulce? I think that's who cut his hair. Anyway, they have an online sign up with a real time waiting list via computer in the waiting area. They also check in walk ins and if an online sign up person does not show up they'll let the walk-in come in ahead. That's how we got in in fifteen minutes wait from walking in. Nice experience.

Checked in online, said 0 minute wait, got in the car and headed there to have son's haircut. Took roughly 15 mins to drive from novato to San Rafael to the shop. When we got there, the lady was horribly rude. Said she marked him absent because he wasn't there within 15 minutes of checking in. She said that now we have to wait 45 minutes if we want a haircut because she would only move him to the bottom of the line. Apparently when you check in online, and the wait time is 0 mins, you have to be able to teleport to have an appointment. Ridiculous. Had she been nice and understanding, that would of been on thing but she was very rude. Not going back there. Lost a customer.

I went to get a haircut and my info was in the system. However my identity was mistaken and I wound up getting someone else's haircut! It was a crew cut, I never had one in my entire life! I showed my stylist, Marie, a few photos of the look I wanted and she assured me she knew what I wanted and referred to the notes in my profile... but it was NOT my profile Marie was friendly and the location at Northgate was clean, but seriously my hair is finally ready for a cut in April (since the "crew cut" done was back in December)! I am very hesitant to go back because of this error. I would strongly suggest you double or triple check your profile with your stylist and do not close your eyes for a moment.
