First time coming in here and was pleasantly surprised with the selection and prices. Staff were nice and helpful. Couldn't believe they were selling brand new ASICS and Brooks running shoes for $32. Tags still on. What a find, had to get a pair. Thank you!

Ive gotten a few cute furniture pieces here. And cookware. Clothing is hit or miss and i feel the clothing donations are a bit on the shabby side . Were in Marin County. Id expect a little better . Donators, do you think that a person on limited income would wear a pilly sweater? Faded? All the life gone? You would be wrong on that. Thrifters will pay decemt amounts for decent second hand item. Dont underestimate what thrifters will spend. The volunteers work very hard and are really helpful for a great cause. Would like to see better quality clothing shown. Not the bottom of the barrel . Thanks

Great place to find something unique. I like the fact that they always have different stuff. The prices are OK.

I have been a fan of thrift stores since first started buying my own clothes. Something I've learned is that it's best to shop at thrift stores in communities that are more affluent than neighborhood's that have less money. This afternoon we stopped by San Rafael (an affluent area) to pick up some lunch. My partner pointed to a thrift store that was across the street from the restaurant, and said, "there's a good thrift store," (he had passed it by before, and noted that it probably had some really good stuff. That store was Hodgepodge, and he was correct. They have really nice items, that they sell for very reasonable prices. The volunteers there know how to create beautiful displays, too.I was looking for a pair of bell bottom pants, but couldn't find any--darn. I also had to promise myself that I wasn't going to buy anything besides bellbottoms (because my house is already FULL).I LOVE this thrift store!!! They offer really nice items (some very unique) for reasonable prices. The staff was both friendly and helpful. And the proceeds go to help with hospice care in Marin County.

people working there think they have gold. the way they show you there fake jewelry (one by one) like you are going to steal the cheap pieces that was donated anyway. good selection but they have to change there weird mentality (expecially the managers )and be happy that people are buying there crap including myself.

Love this thrift. I also take tons of family heirlooms there as I think they are the right venue for the early 20th century aesthetic.

This is a very clean, well run, well kept thrift store for a good cause. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the employees and the merchandise offerings. Changing discounts offerings keep me checking in regularly. Examples in last two years: vintage cast-iron (Wagner #10) pan in very good condition for $20. This sells for $100 plus online. Bought a vintage solid mahogany/teak 4 drawer desk for $120, needed refinishing but is now beautiful !! Half dozen same size/owner unworn 100% cotton button down dress shirts for $12 each.

Very disorganized. Was told by phone I could drop off books between 10 am and 1 pm with no restrictions. When I did the next day they said they were full and of 200 books in my trunk the lady chose maybe a dozen. Very picky and no gratitude shown. Probably volunteer-staffed, I guess you get what you pay for.

Quality stock and I find something I "need" on every visit. Can't understand complaints about high prices. Goodwill is comparable and salvation army is higher, but neither of those have the quality if goods. It's a good thing traffic and parking dissuade me from too many trips or I'd be bringing stuff home every other day.

This place is great nice things clothes, shoes, jewelry, dishes, knickknacks. I work across the street and always find something when I stop by. Even though they are the competition its a must if u are in the area.

I had previously rated this place one star due to what I felt was an unwelcoming atmosphere, but I feel it deserves an upgrade! I decided to give it another go two or three times in the past few months, and the staff have been pleasant and helpful. Prefer it to the Goodwill down the street now, and what a great cause to support. Keep up the great work!
