Wow! One the best Indian Grocery Store, I visited in USA till date. The Market have every basic Indian grocery or other related items that I need for our house. High quality utensils, organic cereals and spices and moreover the staff is very friendly they always ask for the help if you're unable to find anything and they know where the item is located. Very helpful staff, neat and clean environment. Properly fixed items. Anyone looking for nice Indian grocery store can try this one you'll find what you're looking for.

This is my go to place to get all the ingredients in f I’m making an Indian meal at home. They got a huge selection of spices and all types of rice. They are also super friendly and helpful. If you are in San Rafael and are looking for authentic Indian products come to Lotus market.

I'm so glad I found Lotus market on Fifth Avenue in San Rafael. They have absolutely everything you need for Indian cooking - tons of spices, pulses, rices, flours, plus a nice assortment of Ayurvedic and regular Indian self-care goods, and a lot of fun cookware, china, and home decor items. They also carry a good assortment of frozen foods and some fresh items like okra, curry leaves, eggplants, fresh turmeric etc...

Really good side business in the back of Lotus Cuisine. It has a great assortment of tasty Indian foodstuffs that you are hard pressed to find anywhere else in the North Bay. The owners of the shop can advise you on what to buy if you don't know.

This store is exclusively for people who are completely clueless about Indian grocery stores. You know who. I am shocked by their exorbitantly priced items, sometimes wrongly priced on the store labels as well. Some items do not even have a label. Before you realize it, you are slapped with a large bill for regular stuff. There is no Indian grocery store close by for a reality check. So anything goes. And people who think they are paying good prices compared to non-Indian stores, you are officially getting ripped off. I prefer going to Apna Bazar in Cotati, Bombay Spice House or Viks in Berkeley, Jai Ho in SF. The best grocery stores for Indian goods are in South Bay, if you don't mind the drive. This store has been consistently overpriced for years. I wish another store opens up in this area to keep it real.

I love Lotus! they have excellent super fresh curry leaves and Gopi paneer...my two main food staples. Can't make a meal without them! I love that they're always in stock and fresh--and I don't have to drive across a bridge to get them. (Ugh!) -- INCIDENTALLY -- I have done some excellent shopping for backpacking food here. This was a surprise! They have some superlightweight freeze dried kind of "ramenish" food cups that are great for vegetarian protein. On my last backpacking trip, the winning food items came from Lotus--again, a pleasant surprise! And so much cheaper and more pure (non GMO, even some organic) than the standard REI fare that's available for vegetarians...and...usually sold out. Walk around the store--see what they've got to entice you. They have a myriad of surprising options including some great organic stuff. I was sad when they closed the store further down 4th but now love this as it's closer to the freeway (easier to get to) and has its own parking. You can't go wrong at Lotus!

Limited selection in groceries and outrageously expensive samosas but it Does save you a drive to Oakland or to Berkeley It is very tight within the store and you can only really walk through one person at a time through the aisles. But it is quite clean. And right next to the restaurant next to.
