I went in with 3 simple questions, what is the shallowest 100A electric panel they carry, do they sell QuickFlash wall flashings and do they sell/make a panel that with a non-utility electric meter? You would think I was asking the guy behind the counter to jump off the roof into a wet sponge. Granted, I'm not an electrician, I'm a carpenter but if they treat everyone the way they treated me they won't have anyone coming to ask for anything.

I always go to Maltby first. If they don't have it; they can get it. And they are always willing to help with alternatives and even offer delivery to the job site for larger items or any kind of quantity.

Nice people but man those Square D QO panels are JUNK! Thought I was doing the right thing buying a QO panel vs home line but that’s not the case.

Nice people but man those Square D QO panels are JUNK! Thought I was doing the right thing buying a QO panel vs home line but that's not the case. I was test fitting the lowest breaker on the new panel. When removing it the entire bus bar flexed to the point it looked like it would break. The top closer to main feed was much more secure. I felt it would be a mistake to install this knowing it could break after the plastic ages. Oddly enough I later found Square D sells replacement bus bars for that model. That tells me people have broken em. Gambling with availability of replacement that replacement part over the life of the panel would be a mistake. Replacing the panel is no small job. Wherever I install it has to be with the mindset it's gonna last. I installed a Siemens panel last month and even with plastic bus bar it was rock solid. This was an expensive lesson. I bought the panel along with a full set of breakers. The breakers are not returnable so I lost $250 in process. That will tell you how strongly I felt about how cheap and poorly made the Murray QO panel was. Don't make the mistake of installing one of these! First time you pull a breaker the bus bar is prone to breakage!

Pretty solid supply house. They are square D retailer and had a great selection when Platt didn't.
