I dropped by the Smog Center yesterday without an appointment to get a smog inspection for my Toyota Camry. I was greeted with a smile and helped right away. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. The waiting room was clean, comfortable and had a television. I was in and out with my certificate in about 15 minutes. The price was fair, and this has to be the cleanest overall smog establishment I have ever seen. I can highly recommend. I will definitely be back when it is time for my next smog inspection.

I've been meaning to review for awhile and keep forgetting. Excellent customer service. Owner is always there and super helpful and they get everything done so quickly. Very reasonably priced as well. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Coming home from the family summer vacation to the fun (sigh!) of delayed chores, needing a smog check, I found myself at Smog Center Marin, and I didn't hate it.In fact, everything went smoothly. No appointment needed, phone answered when I called, arrived to a very short wait, done and verified in 20 minutes, and my results sent electronically to the DMV. I felt like I'd accomplished something!In addition to getting in and out in record time, the shop is small but clean and transparent--the waiting room looks in on a freshly painted and clean garage where they conduct smog checks. The shop is tacked on to a Valero gas station, but run as a separate business. The waiting room is remodeled and clean and the staff here is friendly and effective. They have a $10 discount for 1st time customers with a Yelp check in. $55 with my discount.Wish all my chores were this easy!

Great prices, friendly service. I got a 1981 VW Van done there, much cheaper than other places I called. This shop is very clean too! Will do all my smog checks here in the future.
