Best bike shop in Marin! I’ve been getting all my bikes serviced there for over a year now, and contrary to my previous shop in downtown San Rafael (MB) the work is always done correctly for a very fair price. On top of that, the staff is super friendly, and they sell beer—what more can you ask for??

I’ve been to several bike shops in different towns, and none compare to the service and care I receive at Solstice. Mark is the only person I trust to work on my Canyon road bike. He’s patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely acts in your bike’s best interest. What I admire most is how he includes you in the process—explaining everything clearly and always with a great attitude. He was able to repair issues I’d been having with my bike, and made sure it was safe to ride, which brought real peace of mind. Above all, he puts real care into every detail. I’m from the 94903 ZIP code of San Rafael. I remember FarGo by Safeway and Bike n Bean by “dandy”. However, this new place SOLSTICE BIKE WORKS by Scotty’s is Amazing. 94903 people have the uniqueness of riding over car-free hills for bike service and other errands. Now that we have Mark and company here, those Fairfax/SanAnselmo bike shops have FIERCE Terra Linda competition. Inventory looks rather small, but Mark is totally on the ball with knowledge about bike service.

Great little bike shop in Terra Linda. Doesn't have a huge selection but are super-knowledgeable and can work to get what you want. They are a Specialized dealer which is nice as Specialized dropped Mike's Bikes. Excellent bike repair services as well.

Was referred to them by Canyon's customer service when my freshly delivered bike was having issues shifting. I had a ride planned for the next day, and despite no heads up the team at solstice dropped everything to spend the time getting my bike in top shape, giving great advice the entire time. Excellent service, and I will be trusting my bike with them exclusively moving forward.

These guys are good! I took my bike to Mike’s bikes and they didn’t listen to my complaint of the chain slipping down a gear when I went after it, peddled hard! So I took it to Solstice Bike Shop and they fine tuned it. It took two quick visits but they got me and my bike dialed in. Thank you. It feels good when it’s done right! And they stand behind their work.

We're so fortunate to have such a quality, friendly, professional bike shop nearby. I've purchased a bike here and come in for repair/maintenance. Excellent work and great customer service. I don't plan on moving but if I do this will always be my go-to bike store. Thank you Mark!

Mark is a first class bike mechanic and a super helpful (and friendly) shop owner. Every time I take my bike to him, it comes back better than before. Great prices, service, and accessories. So nice to have such a good shop so close by. Highly recommend!
