You need something in a locked cabinet?? No one shows up!!! Be prepared to get in line at guest services multiple times. Horrible service

I shop here regularly and think the staff does a good job inside the store. But, outside in the parking lot? Not so good. There's quite a lot of trash that is strewn around the parking lot. Old beer cans, used tissues, stuff that shouldn't be there. I don't see why one of the many employees they have couldn't just go around (with gloves) and pick stuff up?

There is a wide variety of different goods including groceries. Way too many people complaining about the store and employees. They are hard workers and not relying on the government for money. Just about every store in Marin needs workers. People on Nextdoor are always complaining about stores not having enough workers. As the cost of living here is ridiculous so it's hard to find workers. Be kind to the workers and if you can't do that, then shop online.

Was shopping with my toddler when an argument broke out over some broken merchandise. Instead of saying something the employees just stood back and we're laughing while letting other kids film the incident, hoping it would escalate.

I can get overwhelmed in this big store but fortunately there are nice employees around who are there to help. Ramon is a very cheerful and welcoming presence at the self check out area. Sometimes self checkout can be confusing so I appreciate his calm and patient demeanor. Other times I have had a hard time finding what I'm looking for. Tavarus is an example of one of the nice and friendly employees who make me feel like it's no trouble for them to take me exactly to the location of what I'm looking for. I've always encountered very friendly and helpful employees here - even at the Return Desk. Thank you for training/hiring employees such as these. (Written by wife of Steve)

Used to love this location (especially the view of the Richmond Bridge), but recent changes completely ruined the experience. Many basic items like deodorant are now locked in a cabinet where you have to find an overworked employee to unlock it for you. It's such an inconvenience for paying customers who can easily get these items from a different store, Amazon, or even from one of the other Targets that are a short drive away.

everything is locked up now, so inconvenient and a bad shopping experience. it is almost impossible to find a worker that can help and if you find one they do not speak english. the selection is dull and you can't even get deodorant without having to wait 10 mintues for a worker to come by and unlock it. I will be traveling to the novato or marin city target from now on

If you would have asked me before this weekend I'd have told you I shop online and in store at Target often. Probably too much! From back to school, to Halloween decor, to housewares, food and sundries, it's easy to spend FAR more money here than intended on basics and more. I also like their collaboration with designers & their ethos, and many things about Target. But I'll also tell you what I don't like. After this weekend, I'm pretty sure I'll be shifting my pharmacy purchasing to Rite Aid or Walgreens, because my local Target is locking up entire aisles of basics like deodorant and toothbrushes. If it requires setting off an alarm & a needing an actual Target employee to unlock a case for $5 micellar water wipes, it's not a good retail experience. (Especially given how hard it is to find an employee at Target.) I understand companies are dealing with loss and have to come up with effective strategies, but it's a bad solution if they are not just locking up razor and expensive items, but aisles and aisles of daily products and making it difficult for customers to shop, so that they opt to go elsewhere. I'll still shop here for paper towels and storage containers, which are not on lock down, but with entire aisles of deodorant and toothbrushes behind glass, I will be shifting the majority of my shopping for these items to a store with a better pharmacy shopping experience.

This review is strictly for Nicolas the young gentleman who works security and greets you at the door as you enter the store and speaks a pleasant word to you as you leave. He's always there! (like the guy who makes the pizza at the Pizza Hut). Today was the first time I engaged Nicolas in a conversation. I was in Starbucks waiting for an order and noticed a cart starting to roll toward someone's car. Some folks are just not considerate and will just leave their cart un tethered.

I was astonished with how many unskilled workers this Target location hires. We had an unexpected overnight stay so here it is 9pm needing toiletries and a change of clothes. Who's open unfamiliar with this area Google takes me to this target location. First of all selection is very scarce I could not find pj's I asked the young girl stocking where are the night gowns she gave me a look I thought quite threatening and said "What" (In an uneducated manner ) I repeated my question she said "I don't know" (like why am I asking her). I mentioned to my husband he said he got the same attitude from from staff stocking in men's department. I grabbed an $8 tshirt to sleep and toiletries and got out of there.

Great store and helpful staff but it shouldn't take over an 30 minutes to pull a receipt when you give them the number the date, and practically the time .

This is not a bad Target, and the grocery section has been much improved. But it has the worst Starbucks I have ever experienced, and it is getting worse! The last time I got coffee there they had removed all the chairs and tables. And they had removed the condiments! No sugar, no napkins, etc. When I asked for some sugar packets and a chocolate sprinkle on my latte, I was rudely refused from behind the plastic barrier and informed they gave nothing with the coffee! The Bucks was an amenity that used to make shopping at this store pleasant -- but now I would say it is making this Target a less desirable place to shop.

This is the most organized & spotless Target I've ever been in. Absolutely love it. I live in Novato-where there is a Target-but this one is worth the drive.
