Totally underwhelming customer service and unmotivated staff. It’s frustrating when you hear staff greet people as they walk in and out of the store, only to not receive the same welcome. Heavy set female staff member stood in the middle of the store avoiding any sort of eye contact with that “I hate m job” frown.The only positive was that the beanies were buy 1 get one 1/2 off. No wonder the Northgate mall is as dead as it is, you’re left as unmotivated to shop there as much as staff is unmotivated to work. Just shop online

ive been here a couple times and I guess they've seem to hire new people but it makes no difference I'm not greeted when I walk in and I'm not asked if I need assistence the employees just side eye customers and continue with whatever they're doing sitting at the register

This store the last two times I've gone out of my way to come has closed at 6:00 when hrs are posted 7:00. The girl managing hurried to lock the door on me and when I asked about quickly coming In she rudely just said closed and locked the door. I get this mall is slow and hurting but when you drive 30 min to get turned away because they feel like leaving it's not cool. Do better or just close up shop like all the other stores have.

I had the strangest experience here ever in a retail store a few weeks ago. I walked in and a young man helped me and of course they did not have my size in any of the shoes I wanted 10 1/2. He went back maybe 10 times looking for sizes. He was on his phone scrolling and seemed annoyed at times as I kept saying thanks. When we both realized I would not find my size I tried to give him a fist bump instead of a handshake because of Covid, just a kind gesture for helping me. He just kinda moved so I tapped his shoulder and said thanks man. That was my mistake as he got so angry and said please don't touch me and kept muttering words and looked angry. I apologized and said I'm sorry I offended you , I shouldn't have done that. I kept looking around the store at shirts and jackets, he kinda kept following me and saying you shouldn't touch people and seemed kinda threatening. I then got kinda mad and told him to relax that I had no bad intentions for my gesture, I kept ignoring him and he came over at one point and said I see you looking at me from the corner of your eye! He kept eyeballing me and mumbling like an idiot. Dude wouldn't walk away, I then started to ask for the supervisor. One thing I'm a customer, this isn't your store kid and you work in retail and shouldn't because you have no temperament to do so. Two employees who witnessed this apologizes to me and it seemed as if they knew about his issues. One of the employees then asked if I'd like to speak with a manager because this was not good on his part. I said yea. The manager came out I explained what happened and he kept talking to me in front of the manager and even looked me up and down like he was sizing me up dude seriously needs to chill. They then proceeded to go to the back of the store where I can hear the young man yelling at the manager and they argued. I left pretty mad and later saw the young man still standing in front working, I don't know how you handle these situations but it seems as if management was scared of this guy to. When I left the mall he walked right by me and didn't say a word , we briefly made eye contact and he looked away. Like I said strangest most threatening experience I've ever had at a retail store. Crazy!

The workers told us how impossible finding a sold out pair of shoes would be. We couldn't find them online anywhere either. When I asked what stores I should target calling the young man, Francisco, said he would make the calls for me. He found the shoes after calling several stores. Then he had them shipped to Northgate and we are picking them up today! THANK YOU! Benny helped at the register too. Looks like the service here has TOTALLY changed since 2016.
