I’ve been a loyal customer of this Athleta location since it first opened and have always appreciated the welcoming atmosphere, helpful staff, and supportive environment. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have shown a clear and disappointing shift in management.
During my last visit, an employee was kindly helping me when the manager yelled across the store at her to go check people out. It was abrupt, loud, and completely unnecessary. The employee looked flustered, apologized to the manager (whose name was Andrea), and rushed to the register, leaving me mid-conversation. What struck me most was that the manager didn’t appear to be busy or unable to assist herself—she just seemed unwilling to. The entire event left me very uncomfortable and embarrassed for the employee who was just doing her job.
This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed something off. I’ve witnessed management reprimanding staff in plain view of customers on more than one occasion. There’s a noticeable lack of professionalism and empathy, and I truly feel bad for the employees who are just trying to do their jobs.
If staff are making mistakes or appear unsure, that’s not a reason to belittle them—it’s a sign of poor training and leadership. Good management lifts people up and sets a positive tone, which used to be the case here. Sadly, that culture seems to be gone.
Athleta and GAP should be concerned. The way staff are treated is not just a reflection of this store—it reflects on the brand as a whole.

Very inflexible return policy. Snooty management with no reasoning capabilities. They don’t understand the value of repeat customers and what customer service means.

Great store and associates! Took the time to help me with returns, exchanges, gift cards, etc. Love having this store available and not just having to order online.

Best Athleta location that I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to different athleta locations across the US. The team is great and very helpful. The selection is amazing for girls and for women too. About an hour from my home, but I come here because it’s just so great. I highly recommend going to this location if you’re anywhere in the area.

Athleta always has a well kept display of items. I've always had a wonderful experience at this location, with customer service & just the helpfulness that is sincere.Although a bit pricey, I usually save up enough to use my reward certificates to purchase items. Add 20% with a Black Friday Deal & it is definitely a more affordable option for me.Items Purchased:1.Cozy Karma Twisted Neck Sweatshirt $108I chose the Burgundy color in size XS per the website recommendation, but it was smaller than I had expected so had to go up a size to an S. It's a hassle to return so I would recommend trying it 1st before purchasing. But I love the soft fuzzy lining inside so I could wear this alone without a coat if I wanted to in the daytime.2.Recharge Sweatshirt $79 a nice stretchy material in Cream that I could easily pair with a tank top. This can be dressed up or worn as a casual exercise top so I love the versatility in this sweatshirt.3.Brooklyn Lined Pant $109 a lightly lined pair of pants that can be dressed up or worn casually $ matched with the Recharge Sweatshirt easily. Since I am 5'2" I needed to alter the length & it took about a week, free of charge.4.Altitude Stash High Rise Polartec $119 I've been eyeing this for a while since the $119 was a deterrent, but it was on special for $69 so I bought an XS & it fit perfectly. I love that it's a warm fuzzy lined pair of leggings to wear during the winter season.My next purchase may be the Triumph Hoodie $108, but in the meantime I am happy with my purchases & the great experience I've had at The Lot's Athleta.

Allison Berry knew just what I was looking for and even though there were none in the store, she told me the name of the cropped pant and recommended them to me as she has some she enjoyed.They arrived this weekend and I couldn't be more pleased. The Avenue cropped wide legged pants are comfortable and perfect for travel. Thanks Allison!

Came here to make a return. Not one of the 3 sales associates working approached me to ask if I needed help. After browsing the store and picking up a few things, I walked up to the counter to make my return/purchase. The 3 associates were talking to each other and did not even acknowledge my presence. They seemed to be more interested in talking about one of the sales associates' hair color and nail color. Then as if they were trying to decide who would help me, 2 of them then pointed to the third associate to help me. She was not friendly at all. Last time coming to this store!

All the staff here are very nice but Rachel is my Gurl here. Because we have the same name hahah I love coming here . With my OCD It's a Very well Kept and organized spot. Very helpful and patient No one jumped into space as soon as I walked in. I appreciate that.

I was in there for less than five minutes to buy something and had a horribly rude experience (even after spending almost $400 online). I emailed the manager about it and got a cookie cutter email reply to add insult to injury. I let corporate know that it would've been better to get no email from the manager, let alone one that didn't address my areas of improvement. I told the manager in the original email that I was happy to discuss the different ways this could've been handled if they wanted to reach out to me. They did not call me. They just sent the cookie cutter reply and didn't reply when I replied again. I told corporate they need better training, because this experience makes me want to take my business somewhere else.
