Great communication and they did the job right! I got three estimates on a damaged door and only Caliber would replace the door skin, the others wanted to pull the dent and repair with filler for the same price. Finished when promised.Services: Painting

One word about this place, SHADY! I have a 2014 Nissan Altima that was involved in a 10 - 12 mph collision, where the person in front of me slammed on their brakes when entering the intersection on a flashing red light. The original estimate was over $9000 for the repairs. This was fine with the insurance company who valued the car at over $15,000. Then caliber came back and said that the support beams for the frame needed to be replaced, which they don't have the equipment to do, so they were sending it out to a third-party. The estimate was over $4000. At this point Allstate was totaling out the vehicle. After disputing calibers findings, I had the car taken to D and S body shop, who was prepared to repair the frame rather than the expensive support beam replacement. When D and S measured the same points on the frame, they found no significant frame damage, and no need to even repair the frame. So did somebody at caliber see this as an opportunity to buy a pristine Nissan Altima with only 30,000 miles on it and falsely claim that it needed frame repair?Beware of this place. There is nothing honest about the way they handled my vehicle where their estimates.

Caliber Collision San Ramon was fantastic in getting my vehicle repaired after I was rear ended on the highway. They were able to get me in for an estimate and repair in a timely manner and the service advisor Jacqueline was fantastic to work with. She kept me appraised during the entire process of the repair and my vehicle was actually ready one day ahead of the original schedule. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who is in need of their services. Thanks again.

It is never a good time when you have to take your car in for body work, but Caliber Collision makes it so easy! I was rear ended and the other driver's insurance recommended this location as the repair site. Going in to the process was very difficult with the insurer (progressive), but once Caliber Collision was engaged, they took over the process and made it simple. My car was in for repair of the bumper and some cosmetic paint work since it was going in. From the start, Melissa was very helpful, communicative and knowledgeable about the process. I was provided with a clear quote/write up of the work to be done and the estimated date of completion. Given the number of cars in the lot and in the bay, 4 days was very reasonable. On pick-up I was assisted by another manager but the name of Ali, and he was also nice and made sure to go over the work that was completed and inspect the repair work with me. There was a minor detail that needed to be addressed and he handled it professionally and quickly. My car looks great and the repairs are seamless. If I ever need to have cosmetic work done in my car, I won't hesitate to contact this location. I'm very pleased with the service I received.

Caliber Collision simply is a terrible place to bring your car. I trusted them with my brand new Lexus (one month old). My car was hit while parked. They kept my vehicle for several months. I have returned five times and every time they try something different. They have asked me to bring my car to three different of their locations, San Ramon, concord and Vallejo. This was to try a better tech, they claimed. The first two times my car was returned improperly repaired and just full of dust and filthy inside. This was after their quality tech had inspected it. The repairs were just substandard and obviously terrible. It is obvious they simply do not care about quality repairs or they do not have the technicians with the skills to complete quality repairs. Caliber Collision have showed me that they do not know what they are doing. My advice would be to not bring your car to this place. They just simply lack the ability to appropriately repair a vehicle. They do the very minimum. I have no words to describe what a nightmare this place is. My car has still not fix. I am too busy at work to deal with them. Caliber collision is just a terrible waste of time.Services: Painting

Brought my car in after I was rear ended by someone else. Caliber Collision was one of the places to choose from the insurance company. They were wonderful. Very kind and professional. Great communication and kept me updated the whole time they had my car. Picked it up on Monday it looks completely brand new. Would definitely recommend and return if neededServices: Painting

My vehicle had a splitter hanging by a thread. I went in as an emergency with no appointment. The general manager, Ali, took a look at it and probably felt bad for me as they were completely booked that day. He took care of it within minutes and made sure it was secured with new parts as well. Sometimes you get blessed in encounter first-class, good people and that's the case with this establishment. I would never go anywhere else with body repair. I especially appreciated the woman at the front desk who sought out the general manager. They were fully booked on a Friday and she could have easily said no, sorry. But it seems that their effort to help is genuine and evident throughout their entire staff. Top tier business. Thank you Caliber Collision!

Got in accident, insurance sent me to Caliber for estimate. This company worked well with my insurance. The other driver was found 100% at fault, so I got my car restored to 'brand new' without paying my deductible. The final cost did increase (by almost one thousand dollars) because they needed to replace a trim piece. This may have been hard to swallow if I was paying out of pocket. To be fair, it was always clear that the estimate was just that, an estimate; cost could increase once vehicle is disassembled other problems could be discovered. They are very professional, communication was great and workmanship was outstanding. They completed repair on schedule.

If you’re going through insurance, then this place is organized and on top of it. It’s a little high if you’re paying for something yourself. And they just do auto body work, this is not a mechanic. So if you need more than auto body, go find a mechanic. I was impressed that I got a text reminder before my appointment. The estimate only took about 15 minutes to get it, and then they sent an email with the quote.

This is the second vehicle that I have brought to Caliber Collision in San Ramon. Very impressed with their attention on the initial vehicle and now on the second. Nobody really wants to use a body shop yet if/when the need arises I trust the professionals at Caliber Collision on Hooper Street. USAA approved too!Services: Painting

I took my car in for repairs to Caliber Collision in San Ramon on Jan 25, 2023. When I walked into their business the lady at the front desk checked me in and grimly said "you're late". I explained "I'm on time, I called 2 days earlier and changed my appointment from 10:15 to 11". She was adamant I was late due to the person who answered my call never updated their system, therefore I'm late. She then informs me "you're late but we can see you". I asked "who answers the phone here" and she said "everyone". I then tell her that I can take my car elsewhere if it's a problem. Then a man that works there who sits in the back of the room blurts out, "well, go then!". All while another lady who works there (Melissa) standing at her desk gives me a stare of threat and hate. I've never experienced a level of unprofessionalism where the staff acts as a mob mentality. They use intimidation, fear and threat as a group to bully a customer. My point of contact there, Jackie pulled me outside to continue my appointment. While we are standing outside, Mellissa continues to stare at me with a disdainful expression while standing in front of the window. This goes on for several minutes. I wanted to leave and take my car to a different shop, but Jackie reassured me the rest of the process will be working with her only and I do not have to go inside the business. Due to Jackie's professionalism and reassurance, was the only reason I decided to continue my repairs at this shop. This has been the worst experience I've ever had as a customer.Service: Body & Trim
