I love the high intensity. I draw my motivation from the great coaches and from the awesome people I workout with. I am seeing my results and it makes me want to push harder each and every time I come in.

This is a great gym with supportive coaches. I appreciate Dusty, as well as other coaches, for being responsive to your skill level. I've been in group exercises where Dusty was modifying the drills as we progressed to give me the right amount of challenge but not slow down the group. Tiffany is also really helpful and easy to communicate with. Finally, the people are in the gym are friendly and easy to chat with. Definitely a great gym to be part of!

I was nervous about joining a CrossFit gym but everyone is so nice and welcoming! The coaches come up with hard, yet attainable workouts each day and encourage you throughout the entire workout.

4 yrs ago I found myself "seemingly suddenly" and massively out of shape in multiple ways! I have never been one to "go hit the gym" as I never could find the motivation and would procrastinate to no end. I knew I had to do something different, something out of the box, but in this case it turned out to be "in the box" (slang you will learn by becoming Cross-Fitter!) I visited a few CrossFit gyms, but when I visited CFD and spoke with Dusty the owner and head trainer, I was sold that this was the gym for me! What a journey this has been, It didn't take long to see a remarkable difference in my strength, body shape, endurance, and a very noticeable increase in positive mental health. I am now 47 yrs old and am in the absolute best shape of my life and have so much more energy and mental positivity which has also helped me become a stronger business person as well! When you complete these workouts, everything else in your day seems effortless and you are capable of handling normally stressful situations with ease. I can't recommend this gym enough, and remember, Cross-fitter's come in all shapes and sizes. There is no judgement on your beginning and achievable capabilities, everyone there works out within their comfort zone weight wise, but you workout hard with the awesome reinforcement of your comrad's and trainers. It is very family oriented, and highly motivating. Go check it out, if you let it, it will change your life!!

Crossfit Danville is awesome! I started Crossfit on a recommendation from my orthopedic surgeon after ACL surgery to aid in my knee rehab. At first this sounded bizarre - I thought "Won't I get hurt doing Crossfit?" or "I've never done back squats or those other crazy Crossfit handstand pushups and other things before...this will be intimidating". I can say 100% for certain: It's not crazy nor is it intimidating. Dusty, the owner and main coach, is VERY helpful in working with you and within your abilities. For example, my wife started coming to Crossfit classes with me (did Barre and other aerobic type classes) but was hesitant because she has always had shoulder pain/issues. Dusty helped her to modify exercises and/or chose an appropriate weight so that she could still get a great workout in, get a good sweat on and have a good time. More importantly, her shoulder wasn't in pain the rest of the day. I thoroughly enjoy the wide variety of classes offered from the conventional Crossfit classes at 5:30am to get a good workout in before kids, work, crazy life starts & the variety of endurance (cardio emphasis rowing/running/biking/etc) and other lighter weight classes at 8:30am which I enjoy doing with my wife a couple days a week. You can find something you like here and you will find the others working out with you are all supportive and there to have a good time and get a good workout in. One thing I hear from friends interested in Crossfit but hesitant to start is the fear of not being able to do all the exercises that 'everyone else is doing'. We all started from not being able to do all those things! For the first year or so, I couldn't do a normal pull-up but my friends in class could do 10 in a row. This gave me something to shoot for; to be able to do a pull-up like my fellow Crossfiters and with time I got there. Dusty is a big help in working with you on what your goals are and to meet these goals. For some, always modifying and just getting a good workout in is common and not looked down upon by anyone at Crossfit Danville. I would give Crossfit Danville a try if you are interested in Crossfit! But do tell Dusty that I referred you (if you read this) since I might possibly get a cool prize and maybe a little referral perk :-)

Awesome box! The programming is challenging, creative, and fun with a strong emphasis on moving correctly before pushing intensity. Dusty is a great coach, and the community is very welcoming and supportive. There are many classes to choose from, and their new location rocks!

I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review. I joined crossfit Danville in September of 2017, and life has only gotten better since. Before joining, I'd go through spurts of gym memberships, half-heartedly trying to get in shape. The only time I'd seen any success was when I was working with an expensive personal trainer, and what I've gotten from crossfit greatly exceeds even that. One of the best facets of Crossfit Danville is how they ramp you up. I always thought that crossfit was insanely difficult, and I had to be in peak physical condition to even try it. The fundamentals classes take you through all the movements, workout formats, modifications etc. so that you'll feel comfortable in your first big kid class. I'm in the best shape of my life. I'm excited to work out and push myself. That said, what really keeps me coming back is the community. All of the gym members are such positive, welcoming people; and Dusty (the owner) and the other coaches are stellar at exemplifying and growing this culture. They have fundraisers, holiday events (apparently a kick ball league now), and tons of other family friendly stuff in addition to the amazing workouts. If you've always wanted to try crossfit, but have been held back for whatever reason, come give it a shot at Crossfit Danville. It's not as scary as you might think

I travel for work and dropped in for a WOD. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Eli was a phenomenal trainer. Definitely will be back next time I'm working in the area.

I absolutely love Crossfit Danville! I joined in August of last year to get in shape for my wedding in April 2018. I loss 20lbs while being at Crossfit Danville and I feel great! All the coaches are amazing and helpful while being funny at the same time ;). The main owner/coach (Dusty) is the BEST! He allowed me to have my bachelor party at the gym and inspired my groomsmen to join a Crossfit gym in their home town. I would highly recommend Crossfit Danville if you are serious about joining a gym and having a great Crossfit family.
