This practice used to be excellent until around 2023. I was a patient for over 15 years and always recommended Dr. Dolores Musco and Dr. Mark Musco. They were warm, professional, and truly cared for their patients, and the staff felt like part of a small, caring family practice.
Unfortunately, as the practice grew, the staff became less friendly and harder to work with. Things declined rapidly once the Muscos left to form their concierge practice (which costs thousands of dollars per year, per patient). Since then, patient care has suffered greatly.
Between my wife and I, we've tried several different providers here, and the experience has been consistently disappointing. The new doctors don't listen, and video appointments have been low-quality and unhelpful. The level of care, attentiveness, and professionalism that once defined this practice is simply gone.
I finally switched to a physician at Sutter Health, and the difference has been night and day. My new doctor was thorough, actually listened, and helped me get the treatment I needed. I'm so glad I made the switch--my health truly depended on it.
If you are considering this office, make sure to look at the reviews for the last couple years.

Wish I could give ZERO stars.
Used to go to this office for many years. Since last year became a “boutique” practice namely you have to pay hundreds of dollars every month on top of your insurance for the privilege of being seen by a doctor, so lucrative that even their pa joined. If you multiply the number of patients in their boutique practice, just from the subscription, they are raking in over a million dollars every month.
My experience with the other physician who is in regular practice was horrible.
Need to find a good personal physician soon.
Following response from Diablo physicians:
It is the same outfit, same address, see attached, making hundreds of thousands of dollars a month by creating fake physician shortage. I was able to find a new wonderful doctor who doesn't charge monthly fee of hundred of dollars just to be on a list to be seen.

Heather hung up on me for asking a question regarding my appointment and was clearly immensely frustrated seemingly out of nowhere, and it’s immensely demoralizing. Doctors are great though.

Very helpful staff — Karen went out of her to way to make sure my medical form could be completed by the MD. The staff were friendly and patient, clean facilities, and kind doctors

Called to get an appointment and the person answering the phone was so rude and just didn’t want to help, then hung up on me. If you are able find some place that actually car and have respect for new patience.

I’ve been here a couple of times now and everyone there is extremely nice. Dr. Boparai is a wonderful doctor and she’s very kind and attentive to whatever issues you’re having. I have zero complaints.

I have terrible experience with MaryBeth Wakefield. I usually don't spend time on reviews. But this time, I have to say something so that other people won't experience the same. She had little interest in my medical history and my concerns, and she seems only cares about what she knows. I was quite bothered and unconfirmable on her communication style since she wasn't willing to really listen. For my condition, I had seen many specialists and I know what options I have, but she kept giving me some information which was confirmed wrong by specialists. She referred me to a specialist ( in the same office system) but I couldn't make an appointments, so I went to see another specialist. Then her office informed me that she and her office no longer are able to see me. I have never seen any doctors who demand patients to go to their referrals, it is patients right to see who they prefer to see. Is she or her office financially motivated? I am not sure, but what she did is pure unprofessional. I will never come back to her and this office again.

I have been suffering from allergy for years but only Timothy Sayles recognized it since my symptoms were not typical. Same positive experience with Dr. Musco. I am glad to have them close to my house.

Front office all are nice. No bad experiences here. 1 receptionist was rude. She asked I leave the office because my phone audio was slightly loud for a few secs accidentally. While waiting room their music is blasting and she is on her cell constantly. Shes the one with a tattoo on her hand. Very disappointed with the 1 receptionist.

I had a televisit with Elizabeth Lee, a phisician assistant that works in Diablo Family Physicians office. The claim that Diablo Family Physicians submitted to my insurance was for an office visit with doctor Mark Musco. When I called the billing department to try to correct the charge/bill they told me that this is their procedure to submit the claim under a doctor's name even though the service was provided by a nurse. They told me that the charge for a televisit is the same as an office visit and they refused to update the claim with the correct information.

I think this office is great Always has been. The staff members are very kind and considerate and they are quick to response. Dr. Mark Musco is the best in the area. I have been to many many doctors over the years. He is the best and he takes the time and is considerate and gets things done. I would highly recommend him and his practice for your medical needs

I saw Doctor Timothy Sayles and he was very knowledgeable and tried to help me to the best of his abilities. He offered to work with my psychiatrist to find the best treatment for me. I approved and I believe they are helping me find the best treatment for me

All of my 5 immediate family members have used this office for years. Sadly none of us will ever use this office again each due to different experiences over the last year. When it was time for an adult doctor I was referred by my family to use this practice. After using this office for several years I will not be going back for these reasons: (1) The front office is unprofessional. Attitude over the phone, disorganization, and lack of courtesy is what you will get. As someone who works in customer service, the front office staff members would be fired from my team. (2) Compared to my other doctors within the John Muir Health group, this practice does not provide patient focused care. They are much more focus on normal trends and not looking deeper. If you feel that your medical needs are unique, this is not office for you. If you want to feel seen and heard medically, I do not recommend using this practice. Honestly John Muir should not endorse any of these doctors. There are other offices that rank above.
