I have terrible experience with MaryBeth Wakefield. I usually don't spend time on reviews. But this time, I have to say something so that other people won't experience the same. She had little interest in my medical history and my concerns, and she seems only cares about what she knows. I was quite bothered and unconfirmable on her communication style since she wasn't willing to really listen. For my condition, I had seen many specialists and I know what options I have, but she kept giving me some information which was confirmed wrong by specialists. She referred me to a specialist ( in the same office system) but I couldn't make an appointments, so I went to see another specialist. Then her office informed me that she and her office no longer are able to see me. I have never seen any doctors who demand patients to go to their referrals, it is patients right to see who they prefer to see. Is she or her office financially motivated? I am not sure, but what she did is pure unprofessional. I will never come back to her and this office again.

I have been suffering from allergy for years but only Timothy Sayles recognized it since my symptoms were not typical. Same positive experience with Dr. Musco. I am glad to have them close to my house.

Front office all are nice. No bad experiences here. 1 receptionist was rude. She asked I leave the office because my phone audio was slightly loud for a few secs accidentally. While waiting room their music is blasting and she is on her cell constantly. Shes the one with a tattoo on her hand. Very disappointed with the 1 receptionist.

I had a televisit with Elizabeth Lee, a phisician assistant that works in Diablo Family Physicians office. The claim that Diablo Family Physicians submitted to my insurance was for an office visit with doctor Mark Musco. When I called the billing department to try to correct the charge/bill they told me that this is their procedure to submit the claim under a doctor's name even though the service was provided by a nurse. They told me that the charge for a televisit is the same as an office visit and they refused to update the claim with the correct information.

I think this office is great Always has been. The staff members are very kind and considerate and they are quick to response. Dr. Mark Musco is the best in the area. I have been to many many doctors over the years. He is the best and he takes the time and is considerate and gets things done. I would highly recommend him and his practice for your medical needs

I saw Doctor Timothy Sayles and he was very knowledgeable and tried to help me to the best of his abilities. He offered to work with my psychiatrist to find the best treatment for me. I approved and I believe they are helping me find the best treatment for me

All of my 5 immediate family members have used this office for years. Sadly none of us will ever use this office again each due to different experiences over the last year. When it was time for an adult doctor I was referred by my family to use this practice. After using this office for several years I will not be going back for these reasons: (1) The front office is unprofessional. Attitude over the phone, disorganization, and lack of courtesy is what you will get. As someone who works in customer service, the front office staff members would be fired from my team. (2) Compared to my other doctors within the John Muir Health group, this practice does not provide patient focused care. They are much more focus on normal trends and not looking deeper. If you feel that your medical needs are unique, this is not office for you. If you want to feel seen and heard medically, I do not recommend using this practice. Honestly John Muir should not endorse any of these doctors. There are other offices that rank above.

I feel so blessed to have Diablo Family Physicians part of my family's medical providers. My mother and myself have nothing but praise for the wonderful compassion and care Timothy Sayles, PA-C has provided for us. My mother is aging rapidly and Tim has been so much help with transition of care. He is thorough, detailed and his dedication to patients is priceless. Thank you Tim!!!

I have been a patient for several years. The admin staff was helpful and courteous and I loved my primary dr parise who moved out of area. Over the last year have found the dr's and staff lacking in personalized care and follow up. The front office behaves as if they are doing you a favor and are rude. Further a family member became very ill and received the worst care possible. I strongly do not recommend this office.

I had a terrible experience with Timothy Sayles.I’m a 28 year old male. I work as an engineer and in my free time I choose to continue to play soccer competitively. In the winter of 2022 , I started having symptoms such as anxiety, poor sleep, and fatigue (which resulted in a significant reduction in athletic performance which led to me not being capable of playing soccer competitively anymore).Back in April, my primary care provider ordered extensive blood work for me. When the results came back, he pretty much told me he couldn’t find anything. So I went to Timothy Sayles for a second opinion.Timothy Sayles echoed my primary care provider’s opinion that my blood work looks fine. However, he took it a step further and actually called into question my choice to continue to play competitive soccer in my late 20s, and made the point that I’m “not getting paid for it” so basically why am I worried about it.Since my first and last meeting with Timothy Sayles, I’ve gone to an endocrinologist (not by his recommendation - he provided me with zero useful guidance), and she has helped me make dietary changes to get back on track to playing soccer (the problem was that my SHBG was high which was binding up much of my testosterone. So even though my total testosterone was high, the amount of biologically available testosterone was on the lower end).I don’t know that I’ve left a negative review for anything in my life. Honestly, it’s not his lack of helpfulness that bothers me. For example, I don’t hold it against my primary care provider that he basically told me he couldn’t find anything. If he doesn’t have the tools to help me, fine, I’ll look elsewhere (as I did). But, in my opinion, his implication that I’m “making a big deal out of nothing” is egregiously antithetical to what a doctor should be. And that’s why I felt the need to leave this review.

Impossible to make an appointment here. And of course I cannot say anything about the doctors since receptionist is not friendly or accommodating. Went to another family doctor in San Ramon.

I've been going to this practice for 8 years (give or take). The team is absolutely fantastic and they go above and beyond for their patients. I cannot express the appreciation I have for their attention to their patients needs, their compassion and the absolutely stellar patient experience I've been given over that time. The support staff is second to none - and just spent 4 hours on the phone finding a pharmacy to fill a medication that I needed same day. They help keep you healthy and treat you like family. Tim Salyes is the best and I love being a part of the Diablo family!
