“If you are looking for cheap, delicious and locally grown produce in Castro Valley, then the fruit basket is for you! The staff are some of the friendliest people I have met, and I believe that the community they foster through their business is vital to my own neighborhood's well being (I live a few blocks away and visit regularly).”
“Went to the Pleasanton Farmers Market before and honestly had such a good time. Picked up some mushrooms, walked around a bit, saw an art studio booth with a bunch of kids artwork — sooo cute. Then grabbed some really good ice cream nearby ?, there was a big grass area that my pup got to hang out and play. More than I expected! Def coming back, such a nice place to just walk around.”
“Small farmers market but enough for the community. There is a guy who flies kites every week. The fresh fish vendor has good salmon. There is a Bolani stand with different sauces available. Fresh veggies are always good! There used to be an egg stand but it’s not there anymore.”
“Stopped by 99 Ranch Market and it’s honestly one of those places you can’t just run in and out of. Ended up grabbing way more than I planned.
Good selection, especially if you’re looking for stuff you won’t find at a regular grocery store. Seafood looked fresh too. Gets a little busy but that’s kind of expected. Would definitely keep coming back.”
