“5 stars for all of the employees here at the Hayward location. They’re all joyful, helpful, they greet you upon walking in, and if they see you staring at a shelf for more than 2 seconds, they ask if you need help.
1 star for the manager Michael. Tall dude with zero customer service skills and zero personality. He must have something against Instacart / door dash shoppers because he’s rude to me every time I’m there. He restocks items directly in front of me while I’m looking for something. He’s dismissive when asked for help finding something. He never will say hello or ask if I need help - which is fine I don’t expect that - but maybe you should take a thing or two from your employees who are all great. But the final straw & cause for this review is how rudely he cut in front of me & grabbed a case of soda I was browsing at & restocked it on the shelf below, while I’m actively shopping for sodas and looking for specific flavors!! I couldn’t believe him. And when I said something he replied with “I thought you put it back in the wrong spot” no dude. I’m looking at it and I’m also looking for 5 other flavors.
Upper management needs to train this dude because he’s never been helpful or gone out of his way - but today he crossed a line by not only getting into my personal space, but also doing it so rudely while I’m actively looking at the item.”

“Competitive pricing for a small store and a staff that knows how to answer specific questions about the products. They even offered to order something for me a while back so that k could just pick it up from them instead of the hassle of online ordering. I really appreciated that! They have a wide selection of items, including high protein/low carb items. They also have a lot of different supplements to choose from as well as fresh produce. This is a great local store to pick up all your health related food/supplement products.”
“Needed frozen tortellini for a recipe for company. Couldn't find. 3 employees tried to help us. Two employees sent us to wrong aisles, but they were good guesses. Third employee sent us to refrigerated cheese tortellinies, but that was good enough. Soup turned out fine.”

“I always stop at the Whole Foods when I'm traveling down to The Bay Area from the North State. It's your standard WF. A little smaller than some WF locations but I find it has all I need. It can be hard to get to later in the day because of traffic and Walnut Creek is just crowded all the time it seems. But it's only about a 7-8 minute detour off the freeway so it's an easy stop.”

“The cheapest price on a pound of butter around and to top it off it was from Crystal Dairy company local to Modesto CA. #ShopLocal I went last month paid $3.00 for 1 pound. I will never buy butter anywhere else again as long as that price stays that way. Other than that the people were alright the guy was def the most polite idk what's shaking with the ladies in the store but give em another chance if not send an email. What else you do you know?”
