Every time I check, it has been off line. The promised up time comes and goes, but it remains offline. They are just pretending to be a hydrogen fueling station.

0 star for this s**** These station has to be decommissioned! I never seen this much irresponsible staff Iwatani has, I never seen a station is always down with unexpected technical issue, then what they are repairing every time? Who is paying for the repair? They repair more time than station is up. BS eaters.

If you are thinking about buying a hydrogen car because this station is close to your house/work - this station never works! It's down more than it is up. Plus there is only 1 fuel pump so when it is up, there is a line that could easily take 10+ minutes per car. If you're wondering why the parking lot is so big, its to keep a long line of Mirai's in line.My neighbors always ask me why I change cars every week. I have to explain to them that its from the Toyota rental credit. Toyota gives you $75/day to rent a gas powered car because this station is down all the time. All the 5 star reviews on here are fake ! So sad that I sold my tesla to get lured in by $15k of free hydrogen. There is a reason why they give you $15k of hydrogen! Its because the pump never works. If you have unlimited time to round trip drive to the next closest stations in Concord or Hayward, then buy a hydrogen car. Plus no public bathrooms, so plan accordingly just in case you have to spend a few hours here. Plus the cost of hydrogen went up, so it costs me $110 to fill up and get 225 miles on 1 tank. The MPGe would be 10.2 MPG! What a joke!

This is the reason why people will not turn to hydrogen vehicles! Iwatani across its five California stations is notoriously out of service. This one has been out of service for 60% of the time I have owned my car. (Two year period). That is totally unacceptable! The nearest other stations are in Concord and Hayward. My advice to anyone considering hydrogen...please don't do it!! You will be very frustrated!! You don't want the ongoing problems...and the fuel has gone up 150% in the last year! For something that hardly works! It actually deserves a quarter star.

Proof that this technology is not ready for prime time. This station is offline more than it is on. And even when it's online, the pumps are unreliable and you have to wait up to 10 minutes between fills which is not great when you have 4-5 cars in line to fill up at their one available pump. Honestly makes no sense when True Zero stations are online all the time with no wait time needed. Iwatani needs to scrap this station and try again when they understand the technology.

The worst fuel cell station and this is offline all the time. I could have given zero or negative star to this. Lost trust on Iwatani company.

They are out of fuel or shut down for weeks! Not very responsible

Got our best fill ever yesterday- it seems the pressure has improved since their latest repairs. Just wish it was more reliably open, but that applies to all hydrogen stations.

Way too often to be offline. There is no reason this can happen other than under performing maintenance crew. Even the customer support answering the phone has no clue of the timeline of maintenance or repair. When I was told the issue is being resolved, there were literally no one at the station and working.

Hand sanitizer bottle is always empty. No windshield squeegee or paper tower. This station was down so often.

Zero stars if I could. This was suppose to be my home base hydrogen fueling station, but It has been pretty much useless for months on end. Between fuel shortages, mechanical issues, incomplete fill ups, and frozen nozzles, this station has been the worst in the area over the last year. To be fair, there was a period of about two months in September & October of 2021, this station was the gem of the area because it was the only station that had fuel. Iwatani staffs were on site directing the long lineups as the nozzles were constantly in use and were covered in every growing layer of frost. It almost seems like they have given up since. I was able to refill there once in January 2022. The station was offline pretty much the rest of the time. That was at least 2-1/2 months of down time. Hydrogen as an automotive fuel is so disappointing. Apart from the sticky nozzles, and the fuel shortages, the station has to run pumps to pressurize tanks before dispensing the fuel. Every time I hear the pumps laboring away as I waited for the pump to be ready, I kept thinking of the enormous amount of energy needed to pressurize the fuel before it is usable for my car. The fact that these pumps fails so frequently, it highlights the amount of effort needed to pressurize fuel before fill ups. It surely feels like a heck of an inefficient process. On a positive note, I have seen improvements on the sticky nozzle issue over time. This station was down since around Jan 20, 2022 and just returned to service on Feb 16,2022. I was 3rd in line at the fill up. By the time my turn came around, the nozzle had a solid layer of frost. Yet, I had no issue with nozzle removal after fill up. The station did turn "limited" when my turn came around. So I did have to wait for the pump to pressurize the tanks before I was able to fill up, and I did need to do two fill ups to get a full tank of H2 gas.

0 stars is the real rating here. This is perhaps the least reliable hydrogen station in the East Bay in a network of completely unreliable hydrogen stations. Location is quite nice for the few times of the year it works though;)

This station is a joke. It is closed again ( over a month) for mechanical problems. This is the second time this year it has been closed for more than a month. The fueling stations will be the death of this technology if not vastly improved and expanded.
