Dr Leena is fine as a PCP, but the incompetence of her office staff is staggering.

There’s no response ever from the staff and the Dr. even after leaving multiple messages and voicemails. The assistant Elizabeth is extremely arrogant and rude. They are incapable of doing the most basic things like communicating with other hospitals. They never answer the phone as they are busy chatting. You shouldn’t have to feel afraid of having to call your Dr’s office for fear of being treated badly, but this is how it feels like calling here. If you’re not capable of human decency, then you shouldn’t be allowed to work in any establishment, let alone a medical one.

Dr Kamat is a very patient listener and a good question asker. She comes in listens, has a very patient bedside manner. Takes notes and makes suggestions or a diagnoses. I am very comfortable around her and she has an easy going style.

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Read all the negative reviews and believe them. Worst staff and experience ever.

I would strongly encourage anyone looking for a physician to not go to this office. I have been going here for 3 years and have been met with an extremely unhelpful and dismissive attitude for all of my problems. No one ever picks up the phone so it is such a headache to get medications refilled or questioned answered as you find yourself calling then getting a call back then missing that call and then calling again only for the call to go straight to voicemail even though you were just called. This past visit was the last straw for me and the reason I felt compelled to leave a poor review, which I never go out of my way to do. I was not seen by Dr. Kamat, who usually is the one who I see every time I am I make an appointment, though I was not made aware of this. I was going in for my annual physical and also had a specific concern. None of my questions were answered, the doctor knew nothing about me or my health history and didn’t even pull up my vaccination records properly to make sure I had all of my vaccinations completed, and throughout the whole appointment, none of my questions were answered and I was extremely uncomfortable the entire time, especially during my exam. The only thing the doctor seemed passionate about was getting me out of the office as soon as possible. I’ve always left the doctors frustrated but this time I left hurt, confused, and very shaken up. I’m disappointed that as a young woman that I was made so uncomfortable by other women physicians. The saving grace of this practice are the other health care practitioners such as the nurses who take vitals and fill bloodwork as they actually converse with patients and listen to issues. Overall, I would recommend others to find a different doctor who makes time for their patients and is actually concerned with their health as that is what I will be doing moving forward.

Incorrectly stated that same day appointments are available. Doctor is not accepting new patients.

I'm new to the area and looking for a PCP so I contacted this office. I can't say much about this doctor since no one will return my calls. I've called twice and left detailed messages, and waited 48-72 hours after each call to get a return, but nothing. I guess I'll move on to better offices that return calls.

My wife has called Lenna Kamat's office five different occasions and everytime, there is no one there to answer; she leaves voicemails, no one calls back. I guess they do not want our business. We found another doctor in John Muir and immediately was able to get an appointment.

My hubby and I are extremely impressed with the Doctors and staff. They are they to help you and make you feel like your part of their family. Lovely practice!

We chose Dr. Leena Kamat due to her good reviews. Unfortunately, my husband has had the worst experience with her. My husband's blood results were abnormal, she did not bother calling or messaging him to explain the results. Our previous doctor (whom we had to change due to our insurance) would call and explain the details of the results. He ended up being referred to a few specialists, they told him that he did not need a referral and could go anywhere. This was false, after searching and finding the specialists they all said a referral was required, thus delaying appointments. My husband has terrible anxiety and she was made aware of this. As a doctor, she should know that patients with anxiety experience intense, excessive, and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. Having abnormal test results and not getting any explanation as to why really made these symptoms 100x worse. We've messaged Dr. Leena Kamat several times and she takes very long to respond to messages, it is best you call the office directly if you have any questions.

Worst doctor I’ve been to in my life. I was sick as a dog and she prescribed me six days worth of antibiotics... meaning six pills. Six days later I was still sick and out of pills. She wouldn’t refill another prescription without me coming back in. I just fought through it and two weeks later I was better. There is no need to treat antibiotics like they are some highly addictive drug. There is nothing wrong with prescribing a few more pills so the person gets better. She is a completely worthless doctor and should back to Canada.

Dr. Leena Kamat is my GP from last two years. She listens to me carefully and never rushes. She makes discussions comfortable and does a good diagnosis. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Kamat is the best physician I have ever met! Her bedside manner is excellent and I never feel rushed during my appointments. She is also very patient, kind and compassionate which is great for patients who have health related anxiety. It is so easy to talk to her and you can feel that she really cares about her patients which is such a welcome relief compared to the physicians I have seen in the past. I raved about her so much that even my husband switched over to Dr. Kamat!!
