Called multiple times a day for couple of weeks, but still couldn’t reach the community manager or even her assistant. Yes, unarguably the worst HOA I dealt with.

Terrible it is as everyone experienced, I am not the only one suffering. I looked at annual financial statements sent by helsing and it shows 50% is management overhead expenses while remaining 50% is only needed for maintenance. They will not monitor , manage and do nothing. If you ask for lawn they will stay with wood chips, plants they wont change for years, dry leaves , branches they will just put aside and but will not carry in truck with them. Don't believe me , see this photo at the end of maintenance day at our community .We pay them hefty money to just to do thisIf you can , gather your community together to kick them out of your contract

This hoa is a joke. They require contractors to submit licenses insurance name the hoa as an insured party file for approval. File plans with the city and file for approval. Even on projects that that is over what the state regulates. Yet do not pull appropriate permits before commissioning work to the properties them selfs. Leaving a building to crumble and fall apart because no contractor can properly get ahold of the people I charge of anything. And can’t do work with out doing so.Yet purposely ignore property managers and contractors attempts to ensure they are following the bylaws. Managed units with one of their properties for years Still manage those units and work with the owners. The excuse being “we don’t disclose hoa info with third parties” yet vacasa was able to give me insight? A third party? Yet you want me to give you sensitive info and name you on an insurance policy? But you can’t disclose the process you’re requiring me to do for you? Absurd.

Terrible company. I am glad they are being replaced after going through agonizing three years of dealing with incompetence, zero communications and abject failure on all fronts.

Manager at our community is extremely unhelpful, poor work ethics and the same for San Ramon office. I’ve been calling everyday for a week straight and left many messages without any response. Major issues are being ignored but they’re making the time to organize Halloween decorations contest and cultural dance events. I’m lost for words and sanity.

This is a terrible company. They find all kinds of excuses to avoid or delay work, while routinely gaslighting homeowners. I will not again consider purchasing a home that is part of a Helsing managed HOA.Also it’s suspicious that many of the five-star reviews here are from users who don’t have any other reviews.

If considering Helsing Group in Las Vegas I would not recommend. They operate out of a virtual office and any inquiries for any HOA issue is thru a ticket system with a case number assigned that may or may not be answered. This will result in issues taking longer and costing your HOA more money and homeowners unhappy with the slow response. Why would you use a property manager that you can never reach directly by phone on any issue? Venders also hate using out of state management companies this one is San Ramon California based and appear to have a low rating.

Edit: We were able to successfully remove them as our HOA company this year. Everyone voted and we were able to change to a new company

Avoid any property that is managed by Helsing. Complete incompetent and in cohots w/ builder association in duping residents. Customer Support , follow up , accountability everything is a case study in failure.

Ive never wrote a review on a company before, but dealing with the helsing group has helped me confirm that I will never buy a home with an HOA again. I can't get anyone to respond to me about late fees that continue to accrue monthly after I paid over $600 dollars to bring my payments up to date. If your purchasing a home make sure the HOA is not managed by the helsing group they will rob you!

Really bad at responding. They are OK and quick to receive the HOA money but give false commitment and become quiet when you need something from them. Complaints like tree damaging the house are not taken seriously.

One and a half stats. Geez. That says all you need to know.Unresponsive. Unprofessional. Poor customer service (not even trying). Spending all their time trying to gouge tenants rather than doing what they are contracted to do.Mr. Helsing should be embarrassed.

Our HOA changed to Helsing as a few board member worked with them as they sat on the board of the Master Plan Community and had good service. Unfortunately as soon as we changed, the service across both HOAs decreased to such a point, our service is worse than before we changed! Helsing is unresponsive to open issues and requests. They do not follow up on issues and make all sorts of excuses as to why something has not been addressed. We are constantly battling with them and it is hurting the community. They do not like up to promises made and seem to charge for items that should be included in our management contract. Helsing poor management is now affecting our community. I would avoid them until such time their service reviews change. If I could give them negative stars, I would.

Awful management. Your car can be towed at anytime without any notice to you whatsoever. Highly unprofessional attitude. This is from Lennar Innovation building at Fremont. Renowned builders like Lennar should really appoint a better HOA comany.

If there's one thing I want from Santa this Christmas it will be for different HOA management for my Avenue One Condo property. Due to their neglect in timely repairs, my car was broken into after our parking garage gates became inoperable for 6 months plus. And of course they claim that they are not responsible for these damages. As I am not the only resident who has suffered from damages due to these broken garage doors. I can't sue for damages, but maybe for emotional distress. Need to talk to my lawyer. Anyways, literally the worst Property Management company I have ever witnessed in my life (& I have lived and owned lots of properties) ... & of course I'll add in that cliche line: "If I could give 0 stars I would..."
