This Walgreens reminds of the Walgreens on Market street in San Francisco. Overflowing trash cans outside, questionable piles of matter in the parking lot, and the contents of the shelves is sparse, if not not strewn on the floor. For a Walgreens in San Ramon, this place is simply filthy. I wouldn't go here if not for the proximity to my house.

Horrible experience with Walgreens Pharmacy in Windermere! To start off I went to the Walgreens after visiting an urgent care facility for a severely painful sinus infection. I was prescribed antibiotics and was eager to pick up my prescription so I could start feeling better. I went into the Walgreens and spoke to a woman at the pharmacy sometime around 3:40 PM. I said I wanted to pick up a prescription. Her English comprehension was not great IMO and I had to repeat myself several times and slow my speech down for her. She was pretty unfriendly and apathetic the entire time. Finally just showed the prescription on my After Visit Summary on my phone. At this time the woman said Walgreens never received the prescription. That was the end of the conversation because the lady insisted the prescription had not been received and that was that. I spent 12 minutes in the parking lot in the heat with an extreme headache on the phone with the urgent care facility to try to figure out what happened. The urgent care facility confirmed to me that the prescription was sent over and received by Walgreens at 3:07 PM! The urgent care facility also went the extra step of connecting me via conference call to someone at this Walgreens who told me over the phone that they had already received the prescription and it would take 30 minutes to prepare. I am so annoyed because of all of this unnecessary time I wasted due to the incompetence of the Walgreens employee, but I am in pain and just want to rest so I drive home and get in bed. My sinus and upper gums are in pain this entire time. At approximately 4:27 PM I received an automated phone call from Walgreens saying my antibiotic prescription was ready. I left to go to Walgreens to pick up the prescription and arrived at 5 PM and go through the pharmacy drive through. Just my bad luck, the same unfriendly lady who helped me earlier was at the drive through window and I had to go through the same process of identifying myself and explaining which prescription I wanted to pick up, again having to repeat myself several times. The lady, adamantly insisted that no such prescription was received. I began to try to explain that I had confirmed that it was received by Walgreens with someone at the Walgreens over the phone and subsequently received an automated call from Walgreens saying the prescription was ready. The lady cut me off and said the prescription was not received, without any sympathy or helpfulness, without offering any solution to the problem at all. I'm forced to pull over and park so I can call the urgent care facility for help because I don't deal with prescriptions often. After a 10 minute call to the urgent care facility in the parking lot with my head pounding, I learned that the prescription was in fact confirmed hours ago by Walgreens and furthermore if there were any issues THE WALGREENS PHARMACIST COULD CALL MY URGENT CARE FACILITY TO CONFIRM THE PRESCRIPTION! I was never offered this option by the lady at the Walgreens window! This infuriates me! I would expect someone who deals with customer service at Walgreen's pharmacy as their JOB to understand the options that could be offered to a customer to help them with their prescription! This lady brushed me off in a rude manner and she was totally wrong, the prescription was in the system the whole time and ready for pickup, she was just too INCOMPETENT to know It AND TOO LAZY/APATHETIC/UNHELPFUL TO GO AND ASK SOMEONE OR OFFER ME AN OPTION TO RESOLVE THE SITUATION! Did she think I was making this all up when I said I received confirmation with a live person over the phone as well as from an automated call from Walgreens? This lady could have at the VERY LEAST asked for help from a colleague OR told me that I could provide them with the phone number for the Urgent Care facility I went to so that the pharmacist could call to confirm the prescription. RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE! I made an appointment for a shot at the pharmacy through the Walgreens app. I received confirmation email saying it was at 5pm today. When I showed up the technician said "No your apt is tomorrow". As I showed them the confirmation email on my phone which clearly said today, they responded with,"No it's actually tomorrow, we have to order it still".WHY WOULD YOU SEND CONFIRMATION EMAIL WHEN IT'S NOT READY?Waste of my time and the staff were very impolite. Don't come to this location.

Nothing is stocked in the beauty department. Never seen a Walgreens in such disarray. The employees have been very nice and helpful though who service the front registers.

This Walgreens does not deserve my business. Not only is the pharmacy operations manager ridiculously rude, she seems to think that Walgreens will go out of business for accepting discount cards on prescriptions.I went to pick up my prescription today. When I mentioned that I had a discount card, she looked irritated. Insisted that I had to pay $33 because of my deductible. Then when I showed her the card where the price should be $20, she did not bother to tell me what she was going to do: acknowledge the discount or not. She walks around the pharmacy talks to another person, orders me to click the device to acknowledge what was on the pin pad screen. She could not be bothered to explain what she was doing. Then she rings the prescription at $26 and I asked why the $20 could not be accommodated, she just said that that's what shows up and that I may have already used the discount card. The prescription was prescribed to me for the first time by my Doctor today. :(The same person refused to price match the same items in Walgreens.com when I went to the store. If I wasn't busy that day, I would've cancelled my purchase to go online and do a pick up order. Duh.My family and I have been a loyal customers. But I have decided to move all my prescription elsewhere.

Pharmacy manager MaryKate is absolutely the best. She’s so helpful and knowledgeable. Rest of the staff are very helpful as well.

Nicest pharmacy around! Nicest people I should say This is my go to pharmacist and pharmacy techs, they are accommodating, quick, polite Comparing it to the pharmacist at CVS in Blackhawk which is across the street from me--- I drive the additional 10 minutes to San Ramon for Walgreens. I have an allergy to certain brands-- and Walgreens will special order things for me. CVS does not communicate well and is a stickler for whatever they want to do.

This store needs help. If you have signs out in the parking lot that you have curb side pickup than it should be correct. Well I placed a order on line for curb side pickup and nothing so I called the store to say I'm parked in the parking lot in front of sign 1 . ( they never have people working, the line is always long , best time to go would be when they first open maybe you will get lucky that your in and out.) Anyways they told me that they no longer do curbside pick up and I ask since when they say for a month now. BS I just picked up an item two weeks ago. So they tell me I need to go inside to pick up my item annoying. So I go in and ask I'm here to pick up my item and one worker says ok let me go check so she tells someone else and that person goes to the back to check and it's been 10-15 minutes now that I'm waiting, finally the person comes back and says that they don't have the item that I ordered and no replacement. 1why didn't it say that on line that it's not in stock. 2 why isn't everyone that works at Walgreens in the loop. They need better training in customer service.

This Walgreens has no sense of customer service and does not respond properly for their own misgivings. I had placed photo order with them and I get a text from them saying order is ready to pick up. After few minutes I get call saying order has to be canceled. When I called back again the lady said there is nothing they can do, don't want to talk to me and put down the phone saying it's not "her problem". I was looking for help if order can be transferred to another store. Luckily I called walgreens customer service who helped me with this.

Very poor customer service. This is the second incident that we came for passport photo , we called first and everything is ok when we got there , they said the camera is not working. This is the same reason they gave us before. On the other hand while waiting for our kids transacting about their. Passport photo , my husband needs to use the bathroom badly, do we ask the cashier for the bathroom code but he said that they will be the one to open it we just need to wait at the bathroom. We were waiting and that person didn't come . Do we decided to leave and go home instead.

This is by far my least favorite Walgreens! I only go now if I'm really desperate for a last minute item, but we are talking really desperate. It's close to home where I could literally walk to it, but I'd rather go somewhere farther than to deal with this place. The front end workers were alright when I interacted with them. But, the pharmacy was just plain awful. The staff is unfriendly and the techs are just so rude. I'm always so amazed by their poor customer service. It's clear they treat patients that way because they aren't competent in the work they do so they need to put up a front like that. It's so sad because I used to work for Walgreens many years ago and I would never have tolerated how the pharmacy staff conduct themselves. I have yet to walk into this Walgreens in some time and I'll do everything in my power to never step foot into this store again.
