San Simeon Lodge is a good place to stay for one night or a weekend getaway. The location is great and unbeatable, just steps from the ocean with peaceful and quiet surroundings. Rooms are extremely nice, spacious, clean, and big enough for one or two persons. The bed is lovely and comfortable, though the property is a bit outdated and old. The restaurant food is great and good, with fast delivery, though it isn't cheap. There is a pool and a full bar. The service is warm, welcoming, and genuine, with very friendly, polite, and attentive staff. It is family and kid-friendly. The room price was good and a great price for those on a budget, with more than enough free parking. It is a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and convenience for visiting the area.
My absolute favorite place to stay! The Karaoke was awesome and sadly that’s not there anymore but still the rooms are extremely nice and all the food is great! Luis was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was super kind and very attentive. We were traveling with a dog and were appreciative of the reasonable $25 pet fee. Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. Highly recommended.
