NOT HELPFUL!!!!!!!!In need of helping rehome a dog I found in a filled and they are fully in the beginning of the year which I completely understand but telling me to go to animal control which I’ve already talked to and they said they’ll give the dog 24 hours to 48 hours because he’s a pitbull and the aggression state he’s at with being lost an miss treated that they would put him down… no help they just say certainly and understandable… no help for a different shelter or see if anyone else could help … just let him be put down….

The absolute best place to adopt the most loyal and loving dogs, bullies! The information the staff has on each dog is valuable in helping one decide the best fit for your situation. Some examples are whether the dog is cat, kid or dog friendly. The rescue staff and volunteers clearly love these dogs and it shows in the animal's excellent care they receive. Our family adopted 3 bullies from them over the years and it has been the best decision for us!! Thank you FBR ❤️the pic is of our last pup, Bleu.

We were not looking to adopt so quickly after the passing of our beloved Mac but... we came across an English bulldog mix that peaked our curiosity. My husband & I went through the application process seamlessly and then went to meet this adorable fellow. Of course we fell in love with "Winston" and he is now a part of our family! We applaud the entire rescue staff-they are all friendly, caring and helpful and we were impressed with their clean facility too.

I have been wanting to adopt a second dog for a while now. I follow Fresno Bully Rescue on Instagram and saw two puppies on their page (Bean and Salem). I filled out an application and put both their names on the paperwork. I received a phone call from Terese the next day. We spoke for about 30 minutes, it felt I had known her my whole life! She was wonderful and you can tell she loves what she does. Salem was the puppy available because Bean had a potential adopter. She was able to accommodate my crazy schedule and did the home visit over Zoom with my adult daughter. Two days later I was ready to pick up our new puppy. I drove from Manteca to Fresno and got to the facility a little early (thank goodness because Waze took me to their old location). I met some of the staff/volunteers and got a quick tour. Everyone was nice and welcoming. The dogs have it made; the facility is gorgeous. Everything was clean and well maintained. After about 20 minutes, the foster came with Bean (now Ace). WOOPS! It was an honest mistake and actually I fell in love with him. He was available and I decided he would be our new family member. I am a firm believer in things happening for a reason, Bean was the original puppy both my daughters loved from the posting. He has settled in nicely with our family and completed our home. Our 1-year-old pitty Bonnie loves her new brother. I appreciated the process to adopt and how thorough they are. Anyone that knows the bully breed and visits shelters would understand and appreciate what they do.Thank you Fresno Bully Rescue! Jessica

What a fantastic resource! I've been impressed with this facility since we started volunteering here. There is very obviously a lot of love and care for these dogs. They have a very responsible system in place to handle the new dogs coming in, as well as meeting the needs of the many dogs under their care. I highly recommend them for your adoption needs, or volunteer hours if you just need some pup time and maybe want one to take you for a walk.
