Round up your foodie friends because I have found THE perfect spot for your next aesthetic night out, this place will instantly transport you to a fairy garden oasis. With their seasonally inspired menu, we had to order a little bit of everything, and I recommend that you do too! Be sure to try the Gochujang fried chicken, Braised short ribs, and Brown butter cake that it is absolutely out of this world. And can’t forget about the drinks! Butterfly strawberry spritzer and Lavender lemon basil cocktails, both were super pretty and strong. Thanks for reading! ^-^

My favorite date night and brunch spot! Incredible food, friendly staff, a true SoCal feel overall. Get the butter cake and the Korean tacos. For brunch, the French toast is insane.

Every single thing my wife and I tried was amazing. It won’t disappoint. Open Wednesday thru Sunday so I recommend coming earlier in the week so things on the menu are fully stocked! We will most definitely be back many times to try things on this menu and as they change every season.

Food was not as the expectations, I order lobster plate and got only half of a quarter of a lobster tail, that was like (what happened) my wife got the rib pland and instead she like steam boil meat. Very very dissapointed, food was not good at all , the coffee was from like the morning, sad to say I would not recommend this place , it's only a nice cozy place but food , they no no experience in food at all.

I don’t have enough good things about this place. I am celiac and I had an incredible meal here with my best friend. It is hard to find places that are so accommodating to people with allergies and restriction. Our server was able to tell me what meals are gf, what could be made gluten free, and which to avoid. The half roast chicken was one of the best I have EVER had. The food also came out on time. The mini pecan pie desert was also gluten free. I went there months ago and i think about frequently. Benchmark is perfect for so many occasions. I found this place here on google so I figured I would place a review. Good review karma.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Last night, my party of four had the pleasure of dining at Benchmark, and it turned out to be an extraordinary experience, much credit to our server Joseph. His recommendations were spot-on, making our meal not just a dinner but a culinary adventure. We opted to eat family style, which was a great choice for the variety of dishes we tried. A must-have is the artichoke fondue with pretzel bread - a unique and flavorful start. But the real game-changer was Joseph’s suggestion to dip the Benchmark burger and Parmesan herb fries into the fondue - simply divine. We also savored the shrimp broccoli risotto, crispy pork belly shishito, and the gochujang fried chicken. Every dish was a hit, perfectly prepared, and surprisingly easy to share (they even thoughtfully cut the burger into fourths). For dessert, Joseph recommended the brown butter pecan cake, and it was a revelation – so much so, that I had to take one to-go! Their attention to detail was apparent, as they kept it cold for my trip back to San Diego and provided warming instructions. The atmosphere of the place added to the whole experience. The string lights and plants created a charming and welcoming ambiance. And don’t leave without trying their lavender lemonade - it’s a refreshing delight. In short, Benchmark is a gem. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch. Joseph’s recommendations and attentive service made our evening memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

This place is sooooo cute. It's has a true definition of alfresco dining. Open air, cute little benches and a small wait stuff. It's fusion Asian inspired dishes. All that came out were good and tasty. Reasonably priced for the food. Order of favs best to best:Korean fried chicken Pork bellyMusselsFlat bread of some sort (Forgot to take my photos outside the drinks) In reality there wasn't a bad dish. You'll love it here for girls night out or date night. They don't have an indoor so be prepared for some cool air. Would be more prepared with a jacket or warm clothing.
