Love this place. As an educator, I can find lots of materials to incorporate Loose Parts in my program. Even for Infants and Toddlers. Children can explore use the imagination and be creative. Affordable and helps the environment by reusing materials.

Child Creativity Lab is somewhere where kids can build and create crafts and mixed media sculptures with re-purposed items and have the best time doing it. Child Creativity Lab takes donated every day items (Lego pieces, empty prescription containers, bottle caps, buttons, wine corks, new popsicle sticks as well as excess items from various companies (excess fabric, plastic bottles, paint, pins, tacks, glue, zippers, etc.) and they put them together in a package so that kids can assemble them them and create a figure like a robot or animal out of all the parts. Before COVID they used to have in house workshops, but now they take the party out to the kids in city community centers, schools, etc. My friend planned a service event here so I came over to help out for a couple of hours. All the parts for the project were laid out at various stations and we went down like an assembly line and filled bags with the items to create a project-in-a-bag for each child. If I was a kid in elementary school receiving a project bag like this to put together with other classmates, I would be totally stoked. If you are interested in donating common household items for them to use, give them a call to see what they do and don't take. You can also arrange to do a service event here with your organization, they have people come in every week to help out. We need more places like this in all communities!

What a fun place for kids to practice and stimulate their STEAM skills. It's also love the ability to drop off plastic items like Yoplait Yogurt containers for Upcycling here. I haven't shopped here yet, but there is also a small Shop area where we can purchase some of the very pretty, fun, and crafty items which have also been donated. A win-win all around for the community. Love it. Highly recommend.

Best place just to be a kid (or a fun adult for that matter)! There is so much here besides the materials: intention, teaching, learning and a genuine desire to make the world a better place! I tell everyone about the CCL and the great job it does! Congrats to Peter and his amazing crew!

This place was amazing! It gave my daughter a chance to explore and create using recycled materials. She was so proud of her projects and she loved the idea that we were "up cycling".

I brought my 8 1/2 year old granddaughter to a Wednesday afternoon workshop. She enjoyed being able to pick her materials. She used the materials that intrigued her to come up with her plan. The plan kept growing as she constructed. In the end she wanted to put it all on wheels and we had a great talk about how wheels work. Erica was very helpful in locating specific parts. My granddaughter was so happy to be in control of the hot glue gun. It was a fun way to spend time together.

My boys LOVE their 2 hours building and creating anything their minds can think of. I love watching their ideas come to life. My boys are 5 and 8 but we have been here to build at least once a year since they were 3 and 6 and it has always been a success.

My twin 8 year olds loved making a zip line carrier. They spent a couple hours building a carrier, trying it out, and making improvements. They are asking me for more kits!
