GREAT staff of friendly people! This is a very nice and beautiful hotel and recently went through renovations. The rooms are super comfy and nicely decorated. We stayed longer than originally planned and the staff (Feb 20-23) was incredible. Oscar is the best and I wish I had kept all their names to thank them personally.

Although tight in and out to the underground parking garage, if you take a ticket and press the help button on the way out, most of the time they will just open the gate and out you go, for free!! Great staff!! Good location but high traffic area, little far away for Disneyland or Knotts Berry Farm. Yet, if you are coming to the OC to just vacation and would rather be close to the beach and shopping, this location is a great choice!!Rooms: Awesome! Clean and Crisp says it all!!!Nearby activities: Not too far from Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa all with beach access!! Shopping at the Irvine Spectrum is fun for the whole crew!! Lots of little shops and conveniences close by!!Noteworthy details: Awesome and safe underground parking garage!! Just don't be a knucklehead (my dad's choice word!) And please do not leave any valuables in the car!! Use the safe in the room for valuables!!! Better safe than sorry!!! Also make sure you are at the CORRECT DOUBLE TREE LOCATION, AS THERE ARE 2 LOCATIONS VERY CLOSE TO ONE ANOTHER!!! ENJOY!!! **Also this hotel is A++ for Business and Vacation Trips alike!!

I’ve stayed at this hotel serval times over the years but after this experience will not return. The hotel was under renovation, which would have been fine except the water was turned off for hours during the day. The fire alarm was tested during the day then another alarm went off at night. The restaurant did not offer the normal menu for breakfast but a buffet that was worst than normal free breakfast, yet cost $25. Lastly, at checkin I did not receive a cookie or the two water bottles for Hilton Honors members. When I went to the front desk to ask for the water bottles the employee was extremely rude, went to get the water bottles then slammed them down on the counter and walked away.

Would have given a 5 star but had a r/q late check out at 1 but they still came to check on the room while still always waking up, the rooms were super cool but needs better antenna or network for TV, but all and all it was cool but they are almost done renovating ?Rooms: Maybe need to check on sound proofing a little more I could hear construction workers speaking through the window, on the 6th floor ?Walkability: Walking distance to pizza a cafe a Mexican restaurant you name it, grest for business tripsFood & drinks: It's all around you if you search and they have a restaurant inside the Hilton.?

I am very dissatisfied with my stay, upon arrival they asked me for my credit card and just that same afternoon they cloned my card and it was at the hotel because I had not used it.I had to block the credit card and pay for the stay with a debit card, which they charged me twice, and they have only given me delays and the hotel staff has not resolved anything, I still have not recovered the money.Very bad experience

The exterior of the hotel looks dated, but overall, they have done a nice job keeping the inside updated.Little weird that their shuttle is done through lyft. It works just not something I am used to, and I am sure it impacts consistency. Also, they are willing to get you a lyft to the airport at any time even though the website says 6am to 10pm.Easy place to stay next to the airport.

The staff's attention is exceptional, the rooms are always clean; Juanito in the kitchen prepares delicious dishes, whether from the menu or buffet, and Oscar at the reception made us feel welcome as if it were our home. Many thanks to all the staff for making our stay a pleasant experience at your hotel.

These are charging for everything which shouldn’t be for example there was no micro oven in our room and when asked they said it’s $10 per night.I booked my Expedia and it was confirmed but when I reached they said they don’t see my reservation which was done one month prior., I had to wait 20mins call Expedia and then we got our room.Pro tip: avoid this hotel and also booking from Expedia as they don’t communicate well after the booking is confirmed

Place feels dated. Carpets are little worn. Overall clean but interior needs remodel and freshening up.Front office and other staff I ran into all were polite and friendly. It's close SNA and for shopping there is South Coast. Beaches are 30 minutes away. Right on and off the freeway is good.Rooms: Best thing was HVAC system set temp and it kept it my comfort zone. Otherwise I would say it just felt little old from carpet and furnishings. TV was modern and large. Bathroom decent size but shower flow not good in my room. Bed comfy but little soft for my liking good quality linens.

Where do I begin. This is one the worst Hilton properties I've stayed at. Let's start with the underground parking. Kinda hard to find. Yes there's a sign in thhe circular drive, but most people are concentrating on getting to the fron door. Limited parking in the circular drive. Finally parked in the garage. My virtual wouldn't set, so I had to call on my cell, waited until finally an employee of the hotel got on the elevator and was able to operate the elevator. Got to the front desk and got a key. Got to the room and it's the Stanford old room with a hole in the carpet. Room was warm, I think it was 75. Set the temp down to 70. Not much was happened Ok, so I figured if I went to the fitness center the room would cool off. The fitness is small. There were 2 other people in the center. I wanted to use the peloton but it was right next to the treadmill that was in use. Call me paranoid but Covid is still around. I used the elliptical machine instead. It mad excessive noise. Came back to the room, it was still a little warm. But it's cooling down outside so I figure the room will eventually cool as I'm now out walking You have to scan the elevator reading even when your on your floor trying to the lobby. Oh and the water is being turned off tomorrow to all the rooms at 10am. I'll be long gone.

Check-in with Tanisha was outstanding! Tanisha is professional, has excellent customer service, and is patient when I stepped out of the line to charge my phone. She is welcoming and an exceptional addition to the Double Tree team.My room was clean, spacious, and in order, however, there was very, very little lotion and no body wash. The sink also needs cleaning to remove the stuck-on calcium buildup.I love the electric art and welcome screen in the lobby. Plus the delicious cookies and two bottles of water! Thank you for the great accommodations.Rooms: Clean and spacious, however, the bathroom needed more lotion and body wash.Walkability: Close to so many eateries, shopping, and the SNA airport.Food & drinks: I attended a meeting - breakfast and lunch was great! I enjoyed the delicious options.

I booked this hotel for 10/24/23 to 10/27/23. I got in around 11am and asked about maybe checking in early. The gentleman behind the front desk said it would be $50 if they had a room available. I said no thanks and I'll be back as I would go get some lunch and do emails. He said check back after 12. Went on and registered my car so I wouldn't need to do it later on. I noticed around 1pm the room was ready. I went in and grabbed my bag and went up to the room. They were going some renovations too, which is no big deal. I put some clothes in the closet and then made some calls and did some emails. Around 2pm I went into the bathroom to wash my face and there was no water. I went outside my room and asked one of the contractors if the water was off and he confirmed. I called downstairs and talked to an Adam and he said yes the water was off and wasn't sure when it was going to be back on. I told him ok that I was a little concerned because I was going to work out and wanted to be able to shower which then he said the gym was closed because of the renovation. I packed everything up and went downstairs and explained that if I had known the gym was not open I would not have selected this hotel. The front desk girl went back and talked to Adam and she came back and said because I used the room they have to charge me for one night. I didn't feel like arguing because I hadn't even sat on the bed and wasn't able to use the bathroom because the water was off. I don't feel it was right that I am charged for one night stay for being in there for 1 hour and not being able to do anything as the water was shut off. They should have stated on the webpage what amenities are not available during the renovations so people can select the correct hotel. I ended up down the street at the Embassy Suites. On the 10/26 I was then charged parking from this hotel and on the 29th I called and got Adam again and he asked if I brought back the parking tag I said no and he said well that's why you were charged. I stopped him and said I didn't even stay there and reminded him how he charged me for a nights stay when I was there for an hour. Then he said well we credited you the parking and it would show up 5-10 business days. We'll see if it does. I also sent Hilton an email about this and tried to reach the general manager Quinn Su who has not reached back out to me yet.
