The hotel’s service was deplorable. Our blackout shades would not fully open or close. At night the let the up lights shine in. In the daytime they would not open more than a couple feet. I paid extra for a corner room which became a waist of money. At least 5 times I called the front desk and asked them to have someone fix the problem. On the 4th day they finally sent someone. They were going to wave the $24 per night parking charge because they screwed up but that never happened either.

Only the white 5th floor in front is a hotel. I thought it was a big room. My mistake?. I am a Hilton member, but I was not treated in any special way. There is a charge for bottled water in the room. Parking is 24 US dollars per day. Lobby The trash cans at the door were full and no one took care of them from afternoon to evening. Three of our family pushed 5 suitcases into the lobby, but no service staff came with the trolley. For a time, I doubted that this was really a Hilton? Then the water pipe in the 324 washbasin in the room was blocked, and the ice machine on the third floor ran out of ice and I had to go to the second floor to get it. In short, I lost confidence in Hilton's review.

We stayed here for a sports tournament. The hotel was clean and the staff were excellent. There was a small refrigerator in the room but no microwave.Food & drinks: Starbucks and other restaurants nearby within walking distance.

Flight was canceled and United issued a voucher until the morning. Our stay was excellent. Very clean, excellent service especially from Grace. They even arranged for transportation to and from airport to make our stay as stress-free as possible.

I think I've found my favorite hotel in OC. I'm here frequently, visiting family. Most hotels in this immediate area are lacking something...but this hotel literally has everything I need in a room and it's nicely appointed and in great shape. I will defi the be staying here again. Make up mirrors in the bathroom? Yes please!! :-)

It's a lower end DoubleTree. The hotel is really outdated and understaffed. The bar needs renovations and closes early. Overall it's ok but probably would choose another Hilton property on my next stay.

I stayed here for the Surf City Marathon because it was a partner hotel and was a reasonable price right by the airport. Checking in was very fast and simple, and I was able to pick my room in the app. I picked a room right by the elevator on the top floor, which was convenient. The elevator isn't the fastest but works just fine.The room was pretty standard but was clean and had a mini refrigerator. The TV was big and so was the king size bed. Breakfast in the morning was a good variety and I had a fresh banana.For the marathon, they had a couple shuttles. They were ready to go right on schedule, even though we had to wait for one straggler. They got us to the start line with plenty of time to spare. On the way back we had to shuttle options, and the one I was on took off right on time as well. When we got back, the whole staff was in the lobby banging pots and pans and cheering for us as we came in. That was fun!For the price, this is a conveniently located hotel right by the airport and a short drive from the beach. They even have a free shuttle to the airport! I will consider staying here again if I return for future races!

Hallway and elevators were not what I expected. Dirty and ugly. But I loved the fountain in between the buildings. Quiet, good to chill with a coffee.Rooms: Old!

I recently had a disappointing experience at Doubletree by Hilton Orange County Airport, particularly with the customer service provided by the front desk staff. Unfortunately, they were unprofessional, condescending, and rude, even towards Diamond Members like myself.What bothered me further was the application of auxiliary fees that seemed unjustified. It gives the impression that the hotel may be facing financial challenges, and this is reflected in their need for additional fees.I believe immediate improvements are necessary for both the hotel supervisor and front desk staff in terms of customer service. Attempting to address my concerns, I tried to contact the supervisor, but my call went unanswered for two days. This lack of responsiveness is concerning.During a visit to the property, I observed a front desk agent engaged in casual conversation with a colleague, seemingly not busy despite my previous attempts to reach them. Their disregard for loyalty status and the statement that they can do as they please was disheartening.In comparison, I've had more positive experiences at the Doubletree Property down the street on 201 MacArthur. The property is undergoing a full renovation, and the customer service is second to none.

Would’ve given it 5 stars but for the terrible (new, glaring, hi intensity) lighting through all the hallways and even room lamps and lighting. A terrible mistake in an otherwise lovely remodel.

Not my favorite doubletree - there was construction going on during my stay and it was very loud, woke me up at 6am on my first night. The rooms were acceptable but the view is pretty average and the walls felt fairly thin. Wi-Fi was fast. Parking is in an uncovered lot and self parking was around $20 per night which seemed way high for the location. Service was friendly and prompt however.

The staff here is excellent! Adam is a great manager that is forward thinking and very helpful.I got a chance to meet both Charles and Carlos and they were both top-notch. There was a remarkable going on while I was staying and there were a few chores that needed to be done and these gentlemen were fast, efficient and friendly. Lastly Liliana I believe her name was was fantastic as well she helped me with everything that I needed... Like some of the best cookies in the world! LOL.This has become one of my favorite spots in California and I will be back.?
