They will steal from you! I went in to get an energy drink. 2.79 they charged me 3.75. They don’t except card cards if your purchase is under 6 dollars. Conveniently they did not give me a receipt. Don’t go here.

Be careful, there is an older gentleman working as cashier that looks at you and than decides what to charge..he does it on the shelf items and food..He does not scan item but enters it into register manually ata higher price. This has happened to me more than once..He will take a 99 cent item and manually enter $1.59 etc. Depending on the item.If Shell corporate has any questions, they can feel free to contact me. He might not do it on every customer or every item that is rang up , but it is happening.

This place is a dump and it's littered with homeless people everywhere. Meow personally I don't give a crap about them and it's well known that area is where they stay and it's Santa Ana so I'm not surprised and i have met a few of the younger kids there and they are mostly just strung out and hanging out . Nothing to worry about but I get why the owners don't like it . They gather in huge groups around the property at night which obviously makes the lady that works there on that shift nervous as she will set off the loudest alarm to try and scare them away. It blares over a loud system and sounds like a high speed cop chase! When you stay in the nearby hotels on Hotel Terrace Rd. you have to listen to it all night long and it's ridiculous. Obviously since it's Santa Ana the cops aren't gonna do anything about the homeless people but come on the stupid alarm isn't working! Have some respect for the people who are overpaying for a shitty hotel that advertises themselves as four stars but is more like two, If that. We are already getting screwed- at least let us get some rest .

This gas station looks really nice from afar but once you go in there it's not well kept. I filled up my tank and bought a car wash as well. Once I drove into the carwash, I was deeply disappointed. It's a very simple wash and its expensive compared to other nearby locations. My car was still dirty after and then all the vacuums had out of order signs. I recommend going elsewhere for your gas and car wash. Other places offer discounts on gas and/or wash with purchase of car wash.

What's special about this gas station? The fact that they use tokens when you use the restroom, if your lucky you might have a flashback and find yourself back in your teenage years when we used to play arcade games with tokens. Unfortunately, other than that, this is just another gas station with hot food choices and most normal things you would expect to see at a gas a station. This Shell is stocked like a mini travel center, giving it a different look and feel from the quid-pro-quo gas station we all see on ever other block. Besides the tokened bathroom... they have a complete car wash equipped with vacuums cleaners. Always convenient to knock out two birds with one stone. My "real" recommendation is to prepare and get electric vehicles because gas prices will be going up even more in the next year or two. So be ready because it's coming. Embrace the future and become a lean, green, eco friendly machine. Have a great day everyone!

Worst person working here!!!! Unbelievable. I was called names and yelled at by the clerk. I think he has issues with women! He is the rudest person I've ever came in contact with. It's actually really sad how unhappy he is. I would say go somewhere else don't stop here take your money where they value you as a paying customer.

Sadly the car wash doesn't work at all. They need to get it fixed and upgraded, but I would recommend going to the Mobil gas station for a car wash on 3470 Fairview Rd, Costa Mesa.

Can't do zero stars. cashier Nancy has a really bad attitude. She couldn't even respectfully tell me that the car wash was not part of their business. And couldn't explain how the two are not linked. If you get gas you get $2 off but "it's not part of the business" this is ridiculous. And as I was trying to get answers another costumer was complaining as well.

Juan here is a complete crook, he called my wife a b**** after she went into the store with a scarf on. He told her she needed a $10 pink camo mask that he was trying to peddle instead of serve his customers. It was a long scarf covering her nose and mouth and it was a completely strange request to ask her to buy an overpriced mask instead. Absolutely criminal in nature. I can't even believe it. We will never come back here again.

Came in today to make a purchase and the attendant ringing me up by the name of Laura or ladra was just being so rude I asked for Bag I know the charge is .10cent she didn't charge me for it and that's because she was busy talking to someone else after that I had to swipe my card again for the ten cent she then proceeded to be rude to me after she makes the mistake and tells me I didn't ask for a bag never mind that she never offered one I swear she must of woke up on the wrong side today....... update 4days later the owner of the convenient store called me and apologized for the employee and assured me that he will be taking corrective actions with his employee i appreciate that.. so I'm upgrading from a 1 star to a 3 star and in time I might upgrade again. Thanks Eli..
