What happened to this place? Last time I was there they were not open. When I called they said they were"temporarily" closed except for wine storage customers to access their lockers. Anyone have updates? Hope no issues with liquor license...One star for not being upfront!

Always enjoy going to the wine club. Our last visit was for a champagne tasting of mostly smaller vineyards. There was over 30 champagnes. Although we didn't try all of them, the ones we did were very enjoyable and it's always fun to experience new wines from off the beaten path. Everyone at the wine club is always welcoming and a wealth of knowledge with not just wine but spirits as they have continued to grow their list of spirits including mezcal with some new interesting additions.. one of the other great features of the wine club are the lockers. They have an entire area for storage that is temperature controlled that you can rent out to store your wines. Out of sight out of mind for the most part. It's always a pleasant surprise when we open the locker and see something that we haven't seen for a while.

Not your conventional liquor store, this place is amazing and you can try wines, they also have great spirits, tequilas, vodkas, Whiskeys, etc. their staff is well knowledge and they have great customer service. Jesus is the best on his recommendations! If you are in the area don't miss the chance to visit this place.

Terrible website, very slow and difficult to redeem voyager miles with poor knowledge during support. Great wines like Kanonkop only available for short while, contacted support, poor response and they promised to have wine available, only a false promise as I had to contact them several times to eventually find out they can't get the wine that

Cluttered inventory in open top boxes scattered around a warehouse sized room. Good mix of California and European wines, but it's a real tiresome job to find anything since the labeling and organization is poorly done and inconsistent. Some of the more expensive wines are in a small gated room off to one side. If you go in there be careful since the space is very crowded and it would be easy to knock a bottle over. They have a large tasting area at the back of the store and a few of those big stainless steel tasting dispensers which require a card. The last time I was in they had mostly wines from one maker that I had never heard of and after tasting a couple of their wines I couldn't get excited about. Save your time and go to Hi-Time in Newport Beach.

These guys know their wines. Recommendations are excellent and don't just sell the high priced stuff. They ask good questions about likes, budget and want to satisfy your needs.

I've been looking for this one particular liqueur: Grand Poppy Liqueur. Not a lot of places carry it. And you can order it online but delivery would cost you a pretty penny. I discovered this play when I searched for this liqueur on Google. A few places popped up... in New York or San Diego. I didn't realize this stuff can only be found at select places. I'm from the Bay Area and it was tough to find it there. Well, I happen to be here in Orange County and The Original Wine Club popped up. They had what I was looking for online but I thought I'd give them a call - just to be sure. The person who answered the phone was very nice. He patiently looked and then let me know he had 2 bottles. I told him I would be coming from Corona and he said he'd have them for me whenever I got there. It took me about 30 min. Lots of parking. Big space full of bottles and lots of different types of liquor and wine. A man greeted me and I said "I'm the one who called about Grand Poppy." He walked me directly to the bottles. He was super friendly and kind. He knew his stuff that's for sure. Definitely come and stop here, especially if you're on the hunt for specialty items that you can't find at your local grocery store, Total Wine or BevMo.
