A-OK Power Equipment was very accommodating with the return and exchange of a shift cable for a Honda brand lawnmower that was the wrong fit. A-OK Power Equipment quickly responded and set up an exchange for the correct cable within 24 hours. I was very pleased and impressed with their swift response and great customer service. Highly recommended.

This store is not a good environment for someone with a disability. They are extremely disrespectful to the employees.
I recommend you not to visit this store. They literally hire a person with a disability for one week and then not give proper notice or communication. I retain a lawyer for discrimination as well contacting Ada Americans with disabilities act! I'll be supporting this individual that was wronged
People are so worried about their money rather then the respecting human decency of another human being.

I dropped off my $800 chopsaw for repair because it had a broken switch. When I picked it up they instructed me to plug it in behind the counter. It immediately caught flames. The motor was fine when I brought it to them and now it’s destroyed. Furthermore, they said it was my fault for plugging it in!

I ordered the Jameson JA-34 Pruner Head from Amazon. It was coming from A-OK Power Equipment. When it arrived the rope was not in the box. Amazon picture shows the rope as included. I called the number in the packing slip. Henry at A-OK equipment went above and beyond to research why the rope wasn't shipped. He called me back and emailed me with updates. I was impressed with his willingness to help me. I received the rope today! I am a former Big Box manager and glad to see there are still great people taking the time to resolve an issue.

This is the worst business ever. My boyfriend ordered a chainsaw from them over the phone in early December 2023. They told him the order couldn't be put in until he came in to pay in person. He went in same day and paid. He continued to follow up weekly to check on the status of the chainsaw as the sales associate said "it should be in next week" when he purchased it. Every time he called to check status, the sales person said "it should be in next week. we have your contact info and will call you when it gets in." FINALLY after 4 weeks of this, my husband spoke to the actual sales order lady. She said that a sales receipt was made but NO ORDER WAS EVER PLACED because someone didn't mark the appropriate parts and she just TOSSED the receipt aside. A receipt for $1,800 that was marked as PAID. Then, she said "i'll order it today, it should be here Monday." We called the next Monday. still no chainsaw. Then Friday (today) my husband called again. She said "oh i called and left messages yesterday. The machine is here." Of course, another lie. We received NO calls yesterday. Anyway, my husband immediately walks out to his car...to get another call from A-Ok. Guess what? The chainsaw - his chainsaw we have been lied about to for months over - was accidentally given to someone else! And the only reason they realized? That guy called and said "I was given the wrong chainsaw." So, now we are stuck waiting until Monday when the chainsaw is returned and can only HOPE it was not used by the guy or opened. This company is utter bullshit. I sincerely hope NO ONE uses their services and if you do, be warned. Stay annoying and hopefully don't get jerked around like we did. Good luck.

Been doing landscape maintenance in Santa Barbara for the past 40 years. I hate shopping there. Really bad service, never the same people. I was just there 15 minutes ago, no one was there to assist you and there was only one other customer in the store.Just because you’re the only game in town doesn’t mean you should provide poor service.A lot of professionnels shop there only because they have to, no because they want to!
