Worlds most expensive hardware store, bar none… however everywhere you turn there’s someone in a red shirt who is friendly and knowledgeable or will find you someone better suited to help with any project
That kind of service isn’t free, it costs a couple bucks more, but that is what makes SBHIC top notch

Mike in plumbing is very helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me find the right pipe for my fireplace and cut it for me to fit my needs. A+ service like this is why I keep coming back.

The plants always seem to be well cared for and the prices are fair. It has been about a week and the plants are doing well in my garden, which is satisfying.
Parking however can be challenging.

Best hardware store ,huge selection. Extremely organized, always stocked up. Everything needed for the project is available. The Garden Center has an amazing wide selection of plants. Staff is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

Some of the people that work here are quite helpful like in the plumbing and paint departments. However, the store is really limited as compared to the ace hardware in Goleta or Home Depot. The problem with this place is if your item doesn’t work, you practically have to have a fist fight with the women at the return counter They do not like to take things back and they discount the price and return less than you paid very unfriendly environment. Personally, I think it’s well worth a few more minutes to drive to Goleta for bigger selection and nicer people to deal with
