Donations must be clean, in working order and salable, otherwise they will be denied. Acceptance is subject to staff discretion. We appreciate the following types of donations: Clothes, DVD/Blue-Ray videos, runner/small accent rugs, tools, accessories, books, jewelry, albums, stereos, paintings, shoes, some electronics, seasonal items, bric-a-brac, household items and other similar items. Large items are subject to weight limits.
I went in yesterday 12/26/2025 . I moved away from Santa Barbara two years ago. But SB will always be my home. Thrifty Beaches is an amazing curated store from highs to lows. Large selection. I was please with store. Santa Barbara needed this type of store.

Prices were very high for what they had. Didn't buy much, just a blanket for packing furniture into the car.

I found some nice Nike sports bras, one looked new. Some of the things had tags on and were definitely brand new. A lot to see and pretty organized which I really liked!
