They do not answer their phone. 2 tellers working, 2 people greeting at the door, another in the back office. I called while in the teller line after confirming their phone number and still no answer and no phone ringing. Further, the bank closes for lunch from 12-12:45 M-F which is not posted the internet..

I'm giving this 2 stars only because it is in Montecito and close to home. The second star is because the staff is friendly. What is unfortunate is that I cannot count the number of times I have pulled into their parking lot during "regular business hours" which currently are 10-4 for this branch, to find they are closed- this has happened at 10am, 11am, 1pm & 2pm. I believe they now close for lunch, 12-1. I have been told they are under staffed due to Covid....where have I heard that before? It's frustrating to park, walk to the door to find a small sign saying "sorry we are closed...." and then have to drive downtown. Bank of America - maybe close this location and give another bank that is fully staffed a chance?

I would give a zero if I can ! The line was out to the door ! 2 people. Really just one because one was helping another customer with a longer issue . One had to take a break and I don't blame the staff , but who is in charge of staffing ! Bank of America can't hire more people at this branch! Horrible. I had to leave , because there was at least 8 -9 people ahead of me.

I don't like bank of america to begin with, I was returning a debit card I found at the beach. I saw a woman walking towards the entrance and thought she worked there. As she went for the door I said excuse me, then louder because she didn't turn around. She walked in and the man inside saw me and gave me a finger to wait one minute. No one came back to the door, the deposit drop was out of order. Thankfully I was able to put the card between the doors and inside. Y'all should work on your customer service skills.

Friday afternoon. Always a busy time. You would think the bank would plan for it, or at least care a little. 2 windows open taking 10 minutes per customer. 20 people in line. Today did it. Time to move my accounts. BofA is just as awful as Wells Fargo, and that is saying something. I am sorry, but the manager, Loretta, should be thoroughly embarrassed by this. Employee just explained how they can't do anything about it. Great.

Not sure about the 2 bad reviews. Kurt is paranoid because he took an arrow the knee back in the day. I have never had anyone standing near me when using the teller. Sorry you had a scary moment there Kurt :P Montecito has a ton of grouchy old people so the couple bad reviews are understandable. This is my choice of BofA since its convenient, near my house, and has short lines in general. This bank often has shorter wait than the main one on upper state. . 2 atm's for your atm'n needs and usually 1 or 2 tellers. The service managers are nice too. I had to dig up some super old statements that I could not get online anymore. They printed them all out right there without complaint.

Maybe the most unhelpful bank I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I needed to cash a check- this was the bank and branch the check was cut and they still charged me to cash the check. I get it it's policy and what not but I asked if there was any way this could be waved and they were less than nice about it. I get it you serve people with uber amounts of money- but still. Looks like this will not be a bank I'll be banking with any time soon.

Very slow, uncaring staff and badly manage. They will make you wait regardless if they are busy or not. Super rude.

Yesterday August. 11 2016 at about 2:45 in the afternoon I felt very threatened by what happened at this montecito Bank of America Two tellers were inside at the teller Windows right next to each other. . And one customer was there at one teller. The customer looked like a rough looking fellow, older Hispanic. A woman was helping him and a young man helped me. The man helping me held his finger up to his eye just beneath like pointing at a tear drop symbol tattoo if he had had one but he didn't. Like pushing a button or telling me non verbally someone is watching. I deposited a check and the teller said to watch the amount and gave me the deposit receipt and he turned slightly toward the man who was standing next to me and the teller standing next to him. Then when i was leaving the man or customer at the teller window next to me sounded like he said he was going to get my government check. It was not a government check however. I would recommend spreading the tellers out. The customer scared me and the tense environment with the teller Indicates this bank may be going out of business like haagens grocery went out of business in Santa Barbara in 2015 . I was shot in the knee at haagens in October 2015 with a home made weapon causing a bone cyst I had to be medically treated for. This bank situation was eerily similar to the haagens situation meaning it appeared to be a going out of business clearance where syndicates were moving in to take as much as they could upon closing. The bank across the street at monecito Savings and trust was packed with cars. There were no cars at Bank of America. It also reminded me of banking deregulation where I was stunned and injected repeatedly over a course of several days in 1999 when I was a federal FDIC bank examiner and the banking system wa robbed. You can read about it at Google plus Kurt brown saintrambone mobile audit club I like b of a for convenience meaning they are across the country. If the syndicates are moving in for the kill I guess it's time to keep moving. I'll keep an eye on this montecito b of a
