Great service! Jimmy was easy to work with. He was friendly, professional, and not pushy. The sales process was clear and smooth. Jimmy had all the paperwork ready to be signed and the overall time spent was minimal. Chad was very knowledgeable about the BMW tech and answered all of our questions. My overall impression was that Santa Barbara BMW cares about their customers and sets a high standard on excellence.

Absolutely terrible. This joke of a service department will damage your car, lie, deny responsibility, mock you, disrespect you, and accuse you of dishonesty even when faced with photo evidence they are at fault. The "manager" Mr. Lemon, is the most dishonest, disrespectful, and condescending person I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Additionally Mike Hernandez is equally rude. It seems these people would rather blame everyone around them for issues than do one minute of work. Customer service is clearly lost on this department. From personal experience dealing with these people, you are safer taking you car to any backyard mechanic for service than this place.If you're forced to bring you cars here for service due to warranty or otherwise. I apologize in advance for the trouble they will undoubtedly cause you. Take photos of your entire car before dropping off, they will always deny damaging you car and or rims.

Salesman was initially good. Then things fell apart. Pre owned vehicle had 29k miles. Was delivered to me with check engine light on. The car was missing three parts as well. It was not inspected properly at all. I asked the dealership to replace the parts, and to pay for a new pre-delivery inspection since the one they performed was undoubtedly insufficient. They sent me one small part and that's it. They offered me $500 for the trouble. I want even sure if that would be enough to cover the parts and the rental car I would need while the engine light was being fixed (3 week wait for a loaner). When I told them that may not be enough, I was literally threatened by the service manager named Keegan--that if I didn't accept his offer, he would reverse the sale. Then I complained further to the dealership owner, Steve Knappenberger, who did nothing besides hide behind his staff. He had is Chief Operations Officer call me and that was useless. This team was not interested in taking the high road, this team knew this car had some issues and was happy to get it out of their inventory. I asked for:--A re-inspection at their cost--All missing parts to be replaced and/or installed--reasonable compensation for my time and the aggravationAll disregarded, ignored, excuses, threats. They sent me $500 which is a slap in the face.

Experience started good. Delightful salesman. Vehicle delivered with check engine light on and missing three parts. When I complained, service manager threatened me, literally, that I didn't accept his resolution offer he would cancel the sale. Bullying and disgraceful. I emailed the owner of the dealership, but he's hiding from me.

Kirk Richards has been my Service Advisor for several years and is always so professional and knowledgeable. He responds to texts/questions right away. He is so great to work with. BMW is lucky to have him!

Santa Barbara BMW over delivered on my expectations for a sales experience. I had been looking for a 2023 BMW X5 45e all over the southern California area. After two weeks, I was in contract with no less than 7 Los Angeles area dealerships and was getting extremely frustrated. From salespeople simply not responding to salespeople sending me pricing for an X3, to receiving emails from four people at one South Bay location, yet not one of them following up to answer questions or provide pricing. I finally expanded my search to Santa Barbara BMW and Jimmy Trieste immediately responded with answers to all my questions on the X5 I found on their website, provided pricing options, and negotiated my BMW lease trade all in under 24-hours. Jimmy knew it was a long drive for me to get to Santa Barbra from LA and traffic would be bad on a Saturday, so he arranged all the paperwork to be sent ahead of time electronically. When I arrived at the dealership, he had my new X5 waiting for me out front, took the keys to my BMW and already had their tech specialist waiting next to my car to set up my phone and get the technology synced. He then showed me to the finance office who was ready and waiting for me and the paperwork was finalized in under 20 minutes. All told I was in and out of BMW Santa Barbara, driving my new X5 in UNDER AN HOUR! This is my 5th BWM, and I have never received that kind of service. It was incredible. When I got into my new X5 there was a gift box waiting for me on the seat with goodies from BMW Santa Barbara too! Previously, I purchased 3 BMWs from the same dealer and never got so much as a keychain as a thank you from them. This was my first experience at BMW Santa Barbara, but it will not be my last. I highly recommend Jimmy, he will take care of you, make the process painless and ensure you get exactly the type of service you expect from BMW.

I needed last minute service done on my car & had the best experience getting my service done here! Dennis helped me out from start to finish, making sure to explain all of my car's problems and priority fixes. I have never experienced such AMAZING service when getting my car fixed and will absolutely be back here in the future. Thank you so so much!

Called on a Saturday to schedule a car maintenance only to meet the most rude receptionist who seemed surprised that im calling at 5 (even if they're working hours are till 6pm), i wanted to schedule maintenance for my car where to she told me to call back on monday because no one is in (Monday is MLK day). Before i could ask if she mistook what day it is she hung up on me. I would like to say this is the first time something went wrong with them, but i had issues where they would forget my appointments and also where they were questioning me about ownership of my own car when coming to pick it up. I've been to a few different BMW dealerships and by far this one is constantly the worse.

I was made to wait for 30 minutes despite having an appointment for my maintenance check. The rep assigned to me was in a rush and tried selling me services that I didn’t need. I was expecting better service from BMW!

Unfortunate experience overall. Was looking to trade in my 2013 328i for something newer. As soon as I was approached I felt a very condescending demeanor of the salesmen available on the sales floor. I wanted to speak about what I thought I knew about my car and the cars I was interested in but felt almost shamed by those around me due to my lack of knowledge. Won’t be returning to this dealership.

When I stepped inside it seemed as though employees had a look of judgment when looking at me. They were rude when speaking with as well as seemed to be annoyed with the questions I was asking. As though I wasn’t good enough to be in the shop. Bad experience on my end.

Poor service. They have 12v batteries in stock. However, their manager gives order not to sell me one to help my i3. They care more about profits than their customers. I will not return to them again. They have lost this customer for life.
