The people who work here are nice but the store is completely unreliable. They are closed randomly and are always missing main products like the N series and V series for months at a time. I end up trying to go to another cosmprof in another city ( Ventura or Santa Maria ) when I can to stock up.

A good place to go for professional hair dresser. But please hired receptionist or clerk that are friendly and nice . I really dont feel like they know what they are doing. If you asked something new or products they can give you a convincing answer . I comment the manager . Hope you hired a lot like the manager. Very nice and helpful and knows h ou w to handle issues.

The customer service is very good. Helpful friendly staff. But I wish there was more selection on esthetician products to buy.

I have just had the most appalling experience with the store. I just got out of a 24 hour work shift, drove here out of my way mind you in order to buy just one bottle of developer so I could get my hair done for the weekend. I come to the door and it is locked during work hours, if you mail in side opens the door for me and states that they are currently closed because something spilled on their floors and the floors are slippery now. I said this makes no sense, all I want is one item and I don't have to walk around the store to find it. I simply asked to purchase an item. This woman let me in the store and accompanied me to the counter where the item was. I picked up a bottle of developer and was about to check out while another female walked from the back of the store and started yelling at the first female in front of me that that one should've never opened that door, and should've never let me in. So, the female number one without thanking any further grabs the bottle of developer out of my hands and a scared face looks at me and says no, no. And shows me towards the door. I was confused however proceeded towards the door and asked them what the issue was, and they started telling me about some sort of liability. I said that no matter what they're worried about they would already be liable since they had led me into the store so they may as well allow me to check out and get what I need. And the angry woman again said “no, no!†and literally kicked me out of the store. This was the most confusing customer service experience I have ever had. I have never been faced with such rudeness, Especially after I mentioned that I went out of my way to become their customer after being awake for 24 hours of work.

What's not to love about CosmoPro? The store carries so many pleasing things for the discerning Cosmetologist/Cosmetician. However, one MUST be a State Licensed Cosmetologist/Cosmetician to shop here. This is one of the places that caters to our local salons. This store is a treat for the eyes and value for your purse. Many professional brands can be located here. CosmoPro is located on Cota Street, in Santa Barbara. Christmas time, is one of the best times to shop. The store is decked to the hilt with many items that include gifts with purchase. Often they are amazing treats that appeal to your special clients or yourself! CosmoPro is a wonderous place.
