Someone I know needed a ride to get a few things from drugstore. That person specifically wanted to go to this specific CVS downtown Santa Barbara although other drugstores were closer. Once inside I saw why- all the staff treated him warmly, like he was family and they were professional in providing services and getting him the medical supplies he needed and getting him the discounts he had. I was very impressed!

Terrible customer service. The young man at the register, hearing my frustration with answering a zillion dumb questions on the credit card machine, said, "This is not fast food." He continued to be snarky and disrespectful. Whatever happened to putting the customers first? I'm glad I get most of my meds from a mail-order pharmacy.

The pharmacist guy is absolutely the most unfriendly person I've ever encountered. Not only is he unpleasant, he decides that a 90 pill (non-narcotic) Rx should be 30 pills overriding what my doctor ordered. I am switching pharmacies and will never be back!

One of the cashiers had alcohol on her breath and called the police on me when I was just asking for a money order that my mother made. There was no cash in the register and this was the cashier clerk's fault. I verbally complained about this and I had a skateboard on my back that I bought from Marshall's 2 blocks away a few days prior. It was my transportation. I left the pharmacy and I was arrested and spent an entire year in jail getting force fed pharmaceuticals because the CVS cashier clerk lied to the Santa Barbara 911 system and said that I threatened to "cut" or "slice" her with my skateboard, which is physically impossible. Skateboards are not sharp enough to cut flesh and all of the Santa Barbara court room employees including my lawyer for the case would not let me explain this simple scientific fact.After one year of being stuck in jail being forcibly fed pharmaceuticals I gained 80 lbs of pure body fat and had repeated focal seizures from doctor malpractice.None of this would've happened if the employees would've just done their job. I've walked through pharmacies thousands of times and sometimes even with a skateboard on my back but was never 911 dialed for it. I never had a worse experience than this.I swear the Sicilian mob runs Santa Barbara city as well as the businesses around this pharmacy. Stay away. The house from Al Pacino's ScarFace is located in Santa Barbara. Just because all the buildings are so nice doesn't mean it's not a Roman Empire Aristocracy hell. Remember Rome had slaves. All of the buildings around this pharmacy are Terracotta and Roman looking. Duh the mob runs it.

Like everyone else, my expectations for any cvs are rock bottom. This cvs is special though. I literally had ti ask the lady to take a break from texting and check me out.If you want to hire a bunch of really old people, that's awesome, I'll be there soon. But what you can't do is put them all on at the same time during business hours and have a teenager managing them. Stewart is one of the rudest people I have ever met in my life.

Rude clerk. Had the lights turned off at cash register area so you couldn’t even tell if they were open and there was a friend sitting next to her on the ground by the register. When we asked if they were open, acted put out. Snippy attitude and talked to her friend about some personal stuff throughout the transaction. If you can, go somewhere else- unless you enjoy being treated like dirt for the privilege of giving them your money.

Went here for my flu shot and Covid booster; I wouldn't come back. The two white male pharmacists (didn't get names) were very unpleasant. And I get not wanting to deal with customers, but they couldn't even pretend. They were glowering at everyone and snapped quite harshly at a few people. To be honest, the vibe seemed like they would rather eat glass than help anyone there and it made me feel weird about letting them inject anything into me. And they forgot the flu shot that I paid for so I had to remind them. I just wanted to get out of there by the time I was done.
