Worked with Santiago Hernandez to purchase a used car from this dealership today. Santiago was great to work with, went the extra mile to get me more photos and videos, and we finalized the deal before getting to the dealership. I would definitely look to work with Santiago again for future car purchases.

Have to say the lack of communication by the service department is about the worst we've ever experienced across dealerships -- literally a vacuum of information. In the handful of years we've had our Jeep serviced here we have never had a good experience... not once in 5 years. Let me be specific: the service team consistently never follows up with service estimates (without prodding)... never calls back on completed work (without prodding)... over estimates costs on repair work (every time), and blames their lack of communication on limited staffing, work pipeline, or scheduling oversights (always). After our last service (which we had to remove from their service shop due to zero communication from them over several days) they returned the jeep with contents from the glove compartment strewn all over the dirty floor, and failed to latch the hood which we realized only after getting to high speed on the freeway. Just cant make this stuff up.

I am appalled at the lack service at this jeep dealership. The service department has had my friend’s Jeep for warranty work for NINE MONTHS. NO LOANER VEHICLE!!!! They have given her the run around this entire time, even leaving her jeep UNLOCKED on the street!! Clearly, warranty repairs are LOW PRIORITY for this dealership as evidenced by their handling of my friend’s claim. As long as I watch my friend go to Cancer Treatments on a Scooter because she does not have her Jeep, I WILL NOT BE QUIET. Shame on this business. New buyers BEWARE, the service at this dealership exists solely to get your New Car money. The moment you have a problem they will string you along.

**Review of Jeep Service Experience – 9 Months Without Resolution**
I have had my Jeep Wrangler, which is under a lifetime max warranty, in service for **nine months**, and Jeep has yet to resolve the issue. Over this time, they have replaced nearly the entire engine (without replacing the actual engine and some wiring), yet still have no fix. They are now working with engine manufacturer engineers to run additional tests, but after 9 months, there is no solution.
I’ve repeatedly asked for an ETA, but they cannot provide one. I've also requested a loaner vehicle given the extended timeframe, but the dealership claims they have none available, leaving me without a vehicle for 9 months.
While I’ve been patient and understanding, communication has been frustrating at best. I’ve often been brushed off, had calls go unreturned, or been told I’d receive an update only to hear nothing unless I initiate contact. The service department managers, though polite, can’t give me a clear answer beyond vague updates like “it’s in the bay being worked on.” On top of that, my vehicle has been left **unlocked**, parked on the street, and outside of the secure lot – far from the care it should be receiving.
After 9 months without my vehicle and no resolution in sight, I am beyond disappointed. Jeep should have escalated this issue much sooner, and their refusal to provide a loaner vehicle as a goodwill gesture only adds to my frustration. If it weren’t for the warranty, my Jeep would be elsewhere for repairs. On top of all this, I’ve spent so much time on hold or trying to get answers from someone that I can now recite their automated message word for word. The lack of communication is just as frustrating as the lack of a fix. They desperately need more competent technicians and a better approach to customer service.
9 months and counting.......

Went to Dodge and was helped by Santiago. Great service. Helped me turn in my old car for a newer one. Everything was smooth. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Very disappointing experience. Brought in my Jeep Grand Cherokee for service and was met with a very rude service rep. (don't recall his name but he resembled the son from Pawn Stars). Anyways, I could not get out of there fast enough and took my business elsewhere. Never going back.

Absolutely amazing people to work with! Don and his team went beyond expectation in helping make this such a life changing surprise for us. They made it personal, not only delivering the vehicle, but coordinating flowers and a bow to help me really make it a special day. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle. They are clearly good people and big supporters of your emergency services personnel, as they did all of this for me while I was on duty 3 hours away.

Great experience. I talked with Adam and he was really nice and considerate, took care of everything swiftly and genuinely focused on every details.
If you want a dealer that’s great at communication and willing to help you on even very nuance matters, I believe it is the right place to go.

Not one for reviews as this will be my first negative one. The service and bad business dealings here are the worst I've experienced, ever! Complete incompetence delivered in a rude and unprofessional manner, truly unbelievable. Its clear from other reviews that the same issues along with the same characters is a running theme that is not worth their time to address in order to prevent further. Ultimately, this business lacks effective management from the top all the way down. I took my business to Crown Dodge Ventura where they handled all the issues this place said they couldn't, in a quick, pleasant, and professional setting. I wouldn't trust these folks to put air in my tires.

I Bought a car there awhile back, I did use my own financing but they ran my credit before I even ok’d it not sure how or why they did this… I did let it slide even though I saw it through my credit reporting agency….
Definitely use email to make a deal! I tried to come in person and games where being done so I left.. I went home & haggled threw email. With Email there is no games because everything is in writing. When I went in person I walked out due to horrible games. (If you have questions of the horrible game they tried ask I’ll explain it) but again through email was very simple. It took about 10days to come to a price etc. doing the paperwork was easy and fast I had my bank send everything & yes I read EVERYTHING I signed there! Best thing I’d suggest is take ur time, don’t buy off emotions and if u go into the dealership to haggle u r now playing there game that they play everyday so you won’t do well! Also do a lot of research!

If you need a good service for your car, this is not the place to go. I needed to get my spark plugs replaced and had the service done about two weeks ago. I had a long drive ahead of me last weekend and discovered there was an exposed spark plug wire that was misfiring… which was the issue they were supposed to fix. When I took it to the nearest dealership they fortunately were able to fix the problem, but also told me I needed new brakes and rotors and have 2 recalls. Santa Barbara Jeep dealership failed to provide any of this information to me, there was no safety inspection at the time I took it in; otherwise these additional issues would’ve been brought to my attention, along with invalid paperwork that should’ve given me full detail on what they did to my car and what should be done in the near future. I went to the dealership in person to explain this issue and the first person I spoke with was very rude and impatient with me and sent me to the service manager who also wasn’t very helpful either, but at least nicer than his associate. I did request an appointment to have my recalls serviced on, however, after reading some of these reviews of people who had similar experiences I will most likely be taking my business somewhere else. Sorry it didn’t work out this time, but hopefully there is more improvement for them in the future!
