This place is 100% committed to providing a great bike to their costumers. We had a big ordeal with a bike we purchased from this shop, but time and time again they were there to help us out, going above and beyond.

After noticing the doors to the showroom were often closed during regular business hours, I called to make an appointment. When I arrived at the appointment time, the doors were closed and no one was there. Not sure how they're still in business.

This Ebike shop is wonderful! Scott was very accommodating and let me try out a few different bikes. I finally settled on a Haibike Fullseven. I really like it. I ride it to work everyday. It's so fun! These folks are very knowledgeable and have a ton of experience to fix you up with the right Ebike. I highly recommend them.

Stopped in to ask a few questions and Eddie was THE man. Super helpful and knowledgeable about everything in-store. Even when I said I wasn’t purchasing at the moment he still urged me to take a few rides to get a better idea of what I wanted. 5-star service from these guys!

In town from out of town, just for the week. These guys won't fix my flat as I didn't buy the bike from them? I don't live here! Seems odd as they do charge to fix a flat, so if you're charging me for your time, for the tube and whatever markup you want, why wouldn't you change a flat. Guess business is too good to need more.

I took my bike in the other day to have my tires filled. They did this for free with the smile. I'll be sure to give them a neighborly hello when I buy my future electric bike from this great company.

Best E bike shop in California! Previously, I had contacted several prominent E bike shops only to find they didn’t have the bike I was looking for, and didn’t know when they might be able to get it. They put me on indefinite wait lists, and I have never heard back from them. Scott was responsive to my inquiries, his shop has an incredible inventory of bikes. He had the bike and size I wanted in stock, and held it for me till I could get there. He had the model of bike my wife wanted, but not the size. Even with the big bike shortage, he contacted me within a few weeks with the news that he received the bike we wanted, in the size we needed, and once again held it for me for over a week as I was on vacation. Really nice folks to work with!

I decided to buy an e-bike for my son and thought it was the best birthday gift for him. I brought him to the shop and allowed him to pick what he wanted. Scott, the owner was so amazing, very informative and friendly.. and hands-on when it comes to handling customers especially us who have no idea which one is better compare to others, etc. He even encourage my son to try the bike and gave him ample time to decide, no pressure, We got one on sale that has good quality of parts and Scott gave my son a souvenir shirt from the shop, and a free hat. What a great guy!!!

Scott accommodated me by allowing me to try out two bikes. I was conflicted regarding two completly differing styles. He suggested I ride both; in the end I opted for the very comfy, cushy, full suspension Bulls mountain bike. It is awesome and I don't feel beat up after a long ride. Scott was honest and knowledgeable. His team swapped out my handle bars, my seat and I was on my way. I have no hesitation referring people to this shop. Great buying experience. It was like Christmas in May, during a pandemic! Electric Bikes of Santa Barbara rocks!

So disappointed by a recent experience at this bike store. We purchased a Gazelle e-bike last month in San Diego, and when we got to Santa Barbara we discovered that the lights and the lock don't function. We looked up the Gazelle dealer in town (Electric Bikes of SB) figuring we would just pop down so they could have a quick look, fully prepared to pay for any service work. I was surprised when the woman in the store quickly announced that they could not help me because I didn't buy the bike from them. When I pointed out that I didn't buy it in town from a competitor, couldn't travel the 8+ hours round trip to have a light serviced, and would happily pay for service, she snottily added that "we prioritize our own customers". Big Mistake.....we went to FastTrac bikes 3 minutes away, spent $4200 on an e-bike bike for my husband, and they kindly offered to service my Gazelle even though they don't sell that brand. Electric BIkes was short-sighted. lost a decent sale, and earned this review.
