Worst service, employeed know less about shipoing than the customer.They made me buy a packaging box before they were sure they could ship my item because the oener was needing to get on computer, so she cut in, closed me out with a balance due in which i was charged $17.51, then advised me that they couldnt retrieve my shipping label & wouldnt return my money. I probably wouldnt have had such a big problem if this kind of thing hapoened only once, but actually, everytime ive gone to this specific location bcuz its close, there has been some unfortunate mishap that i end up paying for. Avoid thus place if you can!

I would never imagine it would take over 2 hours just to ship a package! I was told they couldn't generate a shipping label, I had to go home and generate it through their website (which seems nutty). I needed a label to ship it one way, then a pre-paid label to have it returned. At home, I generated the first, but couldn't get the second. The FedEx website led me halfway through the process, then dumped me on a page with no buttons to continue. I called the Hope Ave. store AND the corporate help line and got advice that wouldn't work from the first and a recorded message saying "We can't connect you at this time." I gave up on FedEx for the second label and printed it from the UPS website, then returned to FedEx to get the first label printed and attached (he had said he could print it from the invoice) and was told they could NOT print it from the invoice. So I asked if I could forward the email with the attachment from the phone. I sent it 5 times, copying myself, and their computer never received it in 20 minutes! They said their "wifi was slow". What kind of business can't receive an email! So after waiting so long while their email didn't work, I decided to drive home AGAIN and print out the label myself (I didn't do it before because I only had paper and thought the sticky label they would print would be better.) Each time I returned to the store I had to wait through a long line of people, so the entire process took over 2 hours. What a disaster! I wonder if they just didn't want to do any extra work since they were so busy and if they lied to me about not being able to generate shipping labels just to avoid any extra work. Anyway, I am never going back there again!

Wouldn't stay open for 30 more seconds so I could print ONE MORE SHEET OF PAPER. Sierra was taking her job way to seriously. She was very rude, not flexible AT ALL. Wish these employees would have some more compassion and sincerity for their customers. Not the first time I've had a poor experience at this location.

Lilly is the most helpful and wonderful person ever!! She packed a present for my 4 year old lGrandson’s birthday like it was hers!! I think she had wings growing out of her back as she helped me ! What an Angel!!?

Stood at the counter no customers waiting , not one employee made eye contact with me or asked if I needed help. Never again will I use FedEx services , I've always went to UPS thought I would try FedEx since I was here never again horrible employees needs to improve drastically!

Don’t ever ship with FedEx - perhaps nothing is wrong with this location, but when FedEx inevitably loses/damages/misdelivers packages the local stores won’t help, and neither will FedEx customer service

Terribly disappointing. I'm actually furious but I'll take it down a notch. Went there early morning to make copies of a simple 2 page pamphlet. I was told by a very rude woman that they would be ready before close and that they would call me for pick up. I never heard from them so I drove down to the store and they were closed. The store hours were till 8 PM and they closed at 6 PM. Mind you- no phone call. My husband had to go there the next day super early and explain our situation. They finally copied the material. And they still charged us a same day fee!!! Mind you- the same chick was still super rude and off-putting. We hurried with the material and went to our event that was a six grade graduation. We opened up the copies and they were upside down!!!!!! So, hence, I'm furious. This simple job cost me over $100. Needless to say I will never, ever, ever using that business ever again. Nor, would I recommend anyone else. I actually told every single person at graduation that made a comment about the pamphlet about the situation and to not go there. I hope after reading this review the manager of the business contacts me. I encourage it. I would love to share my story with them and have them contact me. I have all the material and would love to share how "helpful" their staff was.

I have been looking around at different options to ship a rather large painting to Northern California. After being completely frustrated with the last place I tried because they wanted to charge me $90 for a box and that wasn't even including shipping. When I asked for an estimate of the shipping they said they couldn't give it to me even though I had the painting there. I was told it would be somewhere upwards of $120 in the end... Maybe. When I went to the FedEx office today the girl who helped me very professionally looked up the information and zip code, measured the box for me all the things I needed for something to be shipped. I was able to ship out my painting with them safely packaging it around $75. I was absolutely elated. Her tag said training but I never would have known that had I not glanced at it. I wish the receipt had her name on it.

A pity customers cannot give negative scores. This is the most racist and sexist business in Santa Barbara. What a pity Kinko's, a great copy store, was sold to the likes of FedEx and their horrible, racist, sexist employees. No training, No supervision. The management is worthless and tone deaf. Bad people.

I looked at the yelp reviews, and thought, I am going to positive going in. Wow! A whole new layout since I was here last! I went in around 8:30 am. The customer service was extraordinary. As soon as I walked in, feeling a bit disoriented because the change in layout, the young woman behind the front counter cheerfully asked if I needed help. She helped me in a jiffy finishing packaging my box. Good job on the space upgrades. Good job on knowing the value of good customer service. I left wondering if I was on the same planet.
