If I could give ZERO stars I would. I bought a bag that I though I could use as a personal item for a trip, when I went to return it for STORE CREDIT they told me they don't do returns on LUGGAGE. I told them it wasn't luggage but a purse that ended up being too big and I couldn't use for cabin travel. The manager refuse to give store credit and then had the cheek to tell me, I'm quoting her here: "If you are not going to use it, donate it"... So FREAKING RUDE. So they cannot take it as a return, but they will happily take it as donation. I was out of $39 dollars. Goodwill OPERATES and IS a retail business with their prices and policies, but hey, when it's time to take accountability as the business they are, they try to act like "charity". THEY CANNOT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!!! Also they rid off of the 50% OFF once a month and now they ask you if you want to "DONATE" your cents, so their CEO keeps growing their pockets with MUCH MORE TAX BREAKS. WE are ALREADY donating by purchasing goods there. NO NEED to ask me to keep RE-DONATING. Their greediness has NO limits. The items at this store are often OVERPRICED, there are much better thrift shops in Santa Barbara, this ONE is the WORST.

Women’s clothing organized by color, not size. No fitting room.

They mark up Lulu over double the other workout clothes. Guy at counter was flirting with girl before me (are you home for Christmas, etc) and suddenly barely knew English when I asked him a question.

Definitely not the best thrift store in town, there are much better options. Latest experience is found an expensive item at a reasonable price, brought to checkout and instead of just having them hold it, I PURCHASED it in order to have it set aside so I could return with my car to pick it up. That evening I even called to see if I should pick it up before closing or return in the morning. Was told by the manager that it would be fine to return the next day, it was there, it was set aside.Go in the next day to find that it had been sold to someone else. They did not set it aside, they did not take the price tag off, the put a sold sign on that was easy to take off, and someone ripped the sold sign off, and then a cashier proceeded to sell it to someone else. Frustrating and disappointing is an understatement for this experience. Huge lack of coordination, training, professionalism and just simple competence.Besides experiences like these their prices are generally overpriced. You have to really look carefully. It is always overcrowded and you have to wade your way through tons of people. Many patrons are on drugs or are homeless. Sometimes you don’t feel safe next to patrons in the store honestly. You often don’t feel comfortable when going in to the store bc at times I’ve been stopped by homeless in the parking lot or sidewalk out front to be asked for money or to buy them items inside. It’s filthy outside the entrance as well. Often smells like urine. There are much better stores out in goleta that have much better prices (oh did I mention goodwill has no fitting rooms?) and fitting rooms. Much better service and help on the floor and at checkout. Bigger selection too. Anyways, hopefully this info helps someone, at the very least learn from my mistake and DO NOT leave something there to pick up later. Make sure you can take the item home immediately.

Unfortunately, they don't sort clothes by size. Super nice staff and beautiful building, though.

Meh once was enough. Small. Boring merchandise selection. Noticed they were asking $7.99 for a dress with an H&M tag that was marked $6.99. Seriously wish I'd taken a pic!

Your employee - Michaela Springer - was extremely rude… she created an atmosphere of hostility. The sheets and bedding sold at this location here were full of bed bugs and when I showed her the evidence, she started screaming at me to leave the store.I will never visit this nor donate to this store again, I recommend the Alpha Thrift store not far away.

There are other radio stations you can support locally in Santa Barbara besides KJEE. Just because they are located above you doesn't mean you have to play them. The music blasts through the store and is repative and just plain sucks. I said something to the employees and they expressed how much they hated it too!
