In the Presence of a Master.I am so happy and grateful that I have had the honor and privilege of working with Marji Hajic , O.T. I developed a trigger finger in my right thumb and two doctors I saw to treat this focused on some apparent arthritis in my wrist indicating I should have surgery. I asked about hand therapy, as Marji had come highly recommended as someone who may be able to help. Both doctors said hand therapy would not help. Nonetheless I sought out Marji and in a short period of time she had identified the source of the problem and created a very innovative plan for me for remediation. Her plan proved to be very successful! She created a thumb brace for me which I wore consistently and this appeared to solve my problem. I was so happy! In a second instance, I was holding hands with my boyfriend and then developed great pain in my hand and an absence of strength in my wrist even to open a bottle. I remembered that I had tripped earlier in the day and most probably had landed on that hand, though there was no indication of injury at the time. I called upon Marji for support since I had never experienced this before and it was scary. In her Marjiest way, she offered to see me after her long workday, knew the perfect thing to do to help me and once again, that solved the problem and I was fine.Marji is not only an amazingly knowledgeable occupational therapist, she is a sensitive, compassionate, deeply caring, kind, very heart-centered being. Like someone who would walk a patient who had had an injury to their car in the parking lot to be sure they made it safely. I hold her in the highest regard for the new life she has offered me to be pain free in my hands. When I am in her presence, I know the Master before whom I stand. So to anyone who either has an issue with their hands or would like to experience working and learning from a master to help increase their skill set to the highest level, reach out to Marji. You will be so happy you did. Thank you.
