I've gone to Stancey for haircuts for several years at Head West. She's very good, quick, and friendly. In addition, she listens carefully to what you want. She's great! They're also Covid-compliant at Head West.

There’s no one as good as Peggy! This is my favorite place to go for a haircut and color in Santa Barbara. The stylists are experienced, warm and friendly, and really know how to make you look your best. Love and miss Leslie so much, who was an incredible hairstylist and woman in general — her kind and comforting spirit lives on in Head West. I can not sing praises for Stancey loud enough! She is a hair genius, especially for those blessed with curls or waves. She's such a lovely person and really knows how to give a great cut. I always leave with my hair looking gorgeous but the best part is it also grows out spectacularly! I recommend her to everyone I can.

Stancey gave me my first haircut since October. As a travel nurse (let alone during Covid) it makes it challenging to find a hair stylist you can trust and who listens to you. This was an awesome cut in a very pretty salon. I was very very happy and received numerous complements throughout the day as I walked along State Street. That is great advertisement alone !!!!

My Colorist/Stylist is the absolute BEST in the city of Santa Barbara! STANCEY truly knows hair, all hair. She is a gifted artist. I am thankful she is my hairs' protector and savior. I have had other stylists in town, and frankly no one listens and hears the way she does. Stancey is creative, fun and experienced. Head West is in Victoria Court. Its bumped up against The Nugget downtown. I hope you'll give her a try, tell her Sabrina sent you! :) :)

Congrats to Leslie & Peggy, owners/stylists of Head West. They are celebrating 38 years at their location on Victoria! This is a big accomplishment as many businesses in their neighborhood have come and gone.
