We had a wonderful time visiting SB and absolutely loved our visit to Loveworn! All of the items were wonderful quality, I ended up with a t shirt, tote bag, and perfume. I’ve already gotten compliments! The environment was great, definitely worth a visit :)

Great spot for vintage and classic new clothing. Every time we are in Santa Barbara we make sure we drop by to take a walk thru and see what’s new. Also make sure you visit the attached gallery for a look at some beautiful and inspiring work.

Today is National Women's Day and I got a nudge. A nudge to review a local business owned by a woman who I personally admire. I immediately thought of my friend Jill and her amazing business Loveworn. In my head I thought that since I had reviewed it in the past I would update my previous review..... I looked and What??? I hadn't reviewed it before! I was dumbfounded, perplexed, puzzled and confused. How could it possibly be that I missed that!! So here goes. I have known Jill for decades, I hate saying that because she is a rare ageless woman that most people could not possibly fathom that her career success would possibly be what it is. Let me put it this way, Katie Perry, a few years ago was doing a concert in SB and reflecting on her High School years and an amazing store on State Street that when you purchased an outfit it would raise your self image to the point of life changing. Katie couldn't remember the name of the store but hundreds in the audience could. Jill's first successful Santa Barbara business! It was called True Grit .Jill has always been a fan of denim, a fan of vintage. Kind a fashion "savant". SB lost Jill for a few years but SB is somewhat magnetic and it drew her back in. Early in the days of the Funk Zone she took a risk. Opens a fashionable clothing store which was in a "funky" little location far from State Street. Her first year I had the privilege of renting the back 1/3 of the store as my tiny little motorcycle museum. Cool clothing and vintage motorcycles pair quite well. While Jill is high in fashion I am not. I honestly didn't "get it" now I do. Jill has SO much talent. She creates her own clothing, she customizes vintage clothing. From T-shirts to cashmere sweaters her custom touches take normal to an elevated level of Cool. What Katie saw in Jill's clothes rings true today but on a level ten times higher. While 3/4 of world might be happy buying whatever is fashionable from the newest store in the mall, many people want something a whole lot more special, a sweater, a jacket or a dress that matches their personality. A unique piece of clothing art that will never be seen on another person. Loveworn is very much a woman's clothing store but they do have items for men. My favorite motorcycle jacket, my favorite piece of clothing in this world is something Jill found and put in her store, like it was just for me

Jill and her team were so welcoming the second I walked in. I came into the store looking to buy a cashmere cardigan In 100 degree weather and all of them were so excited to assist with options and letting me try them on. stunning store and wonderful good vibe people. It was a bright sunny Friday afternoon. I was getting ready for a big day with the kids as It would be the first time taking them out in the boat to go fishing after I lost custody of them after taking them out on the boat and international waters for some prime fishing. I got the second chance through a great lawyer and a legal loophole. So I was super excited to get some bait for the fishing hooks. I entered the store thinking I'd find some great bait. Turns out it's a used clothing store. I went up to the clerk, " I'd love some worms" . She said this Isn't a bait store. I broke down crying. I explained to her the situation and within minutes she found a pair of slacks for my ex wife that Katy Perry once looked at. So I bought them. Gave them to my ex wife. She remarried my instantly. Dumping her new husband and 3 new kids in Oxnard. This place is magic. 10/10

I'm a big fan of Wallace Piatt art and dig all the vintage clothes there too! Also a great place to visit when you're in the funk zone, especially on a first Thursday of the month for the Santa Barbara art scene.

A great selection of vintage denim and hand printed clothing. The staff is friendly and helpful. Jillian is the best sales associate- she will tell you straight up if something doesn't fit right and help you find the perfect vintage denim. She is patient and determined to help you find something you truly love and can't live without. I trust her completely!

A fantastic local shop + gallery with carefully curated vintage pieces, some great original silk screen/hand-painted t-shirt designs and a wonderful collection of artwork from Wallace consisting of surf-punk and indigenous and politico-cultural themes.
