All of the staff were very kind. Barbara was a real gem! She was stationed at the dressing room area. My mom is very ill and this was one of the last times that I could go shopping with her. It is a memory I will cherish. Thank you ?.

Didn't let customers through the bathroom even though staff were using it, trash customer respect. Way to go Marshalls! No wonder Amazon is taking over all retail.

Fair selection of items, however, the employees here are moderately rude. They will cut you off in the isles without saying ‘excuse me.’ The girls at the registers don’t say ‘thank you’ after making your purchase, and they wait for you to reach out and take the receipt from their hands. Public restrooms are out of order, yet multiple employees utilized them. This location could benefit from improved management.

I want to thank Anthony and Marcos at Marshalls in Santa Barbara for their amazing service. They helped load my truck with outdoor furniture and were able to fit it all together to help me avoid a second trip. Parking in the back is limited so having their help was extremely helpful in keeping my stress at ease!

This particular store has gone through quite a few transformations over the years-But it is now what I expect of a Typical Marshalls store: Organized, Products displayed professionally/ Beautifully, Merchandise stocked full, & Customer Service is once again Evident & Amazing! They have finally hired enough cashiers to keep lines moving quickly-& the Staff/Mgmnt. is very knowledgeable & friendly… Just like Marshall’s used to be!!?I’m happy to have this store in SB-it has always been a favorite of mine in California for 35+ years… I’m happy that Santa Barbara Marshall’s is once again a Store I really enjoy shopping at!!

Filthy. Absolutely filthy. I shop in different Marshall's all over the country and have never seen one this bad. The dressing rooms, the elevator, the floor throughout were really gross. I expected to see roaches, but didn't. It's like they never clean it. I bought a couple of things I needed at that moment and thoroughly sanitized them. I will never go back there. When it was Borders it was never dirty. I just don't get it. On State Street in Santa Barbara, you'd expect it to be one of the cleanest and most appealing.

Best Marshalls I've ever seen in SoCal. The huge store takes over three entire floors, and always a good selection of clothes and home goods. A significant section of discounted products. Very organized and clean inside.

When in Santa Barbara, you have to go to the Funk Zone and visit Marshall's. They have three floors of clothing, shows, housewares and accessories for the whole family. The highlights are the location and also the quality of items they sell.

I asked to use the bathrooms and the employee I asked rolled her eyes at me and said they were out of service. I have no issue with the bathrooms being out of service, but that associate didn’t have to be so rude about it and roll her eyes at me. Later the same associate checked me out and was rude through out the whole transaction, she also kept having side conversation with another cashier. She kept talking about inappropriate things that shouldn’t be said in the work place. I’m a frequent shopper and this isn’t the first time this associate has been rude to me and has also brought up inappropriate topics up in the work place. She was at register 2 and had long black hair and really long nails.

I have been a customer for so many years but the fact that they do not have a restroom disturbs me deeply. I am pregnant and I needed to go to the restroom, meanwhile there was a young man working and while I was kindly asking him and smiling at him his answer was just “NO go outside if you want to use the restroom “ and walked away on me. This is ridiculous, I am not going to public restroom where the homeless go to get infections , I guess they forget what the law says. I never write reviews but deeply they can go to hell.

It's our second visit to this store in Santa Barbara. It's a large store spread over a few floors and hence has a lot of inventory of goods and variety too, but the goods are left haphazardly all over. Takes time and effort to look for the stuff available. The variety is surely nice and I would like to keep coming back, however would like the place to be better spruced. The elevators also are extremely shabby and need a clean up.

I love this store &' the employees , everyone's very kind . They try there best to ring people up as quick as they can and also treat everyone the same even tho some people are a little sassy n have attitudes for no reason I bet.
