I'm very thankful to Emma, our Property Supervisor, for helping out with an issue I recently had. I couldn't make it back to our apartment on time to accept an important Amazon delivery. Worst management available!!! The president and CEO is one of the most condescending, disrespectful individuals I have ever delt with in my life. After they took over a property that we've been in for over a decade, the fabricated lies and manipulated the lease because we were locked at a lower rate and they wanted more rent. Rather than discuss anything, they tried to evict us prior to the lease being up and wouldn't offer us anything. I would never suggest doing business with this group.

I have been a tenant of Meridian Group since 2003...20 years! From the beginning Deedy has been the manager of the building. I have found the best management crew I have ever encountered (I have been a renter all my adult life!). Deedy and her aides have always treated me with respect and understanding. I'm 75 and a semi Luddite and have needed assistance many times with computer stuff. I am so grateful for all the times they helped me (and didn't make me feel stupid!). Those examples are just a few...please realize I have a lot of examples but they would fill this page and more! Bottom line is I am very satisfied with Meridian Group management!

Bad at communication and organization. Repeatedly got the wrong keys to our office building. Was locked out several times. Tried contacting property assistant several times. Did not hear back from her. Maintenance guys are good. Overall a terrible experience.

From the beginning, communication has been a major issue. There have been instances where emails and phone calls were not returned promptly, and important matters were left unresolved for an extended period of time. This lack of responsiveness has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. It's disheartening to see how some individuals can collect money from tenants without showing any genuine care for their well-being. Horrible people!

I wish Google had a 0-star option! One star is way too much!From the very beginning, it was evident that the building's plumbing system was ancient and decrepit. I had to endure frequent plumbing issues, with the bathtub backing up water every time our upstairs neighbor flushed their toilet. Despite my numerous maintenance requests, the problem persisted, forcing me to clean the tub repeatedly by myself. To my astonishment, they even charged me twice for the cleaning service and plumbing issue, which took days to resolve the invoice issue with them!!One harrowing incident stands out vividly - I returned home from a holiday to find my kitchen floor submerged in water, and the ceiling was dripping. The cause? A problem in our upstairs neighbor's kitchen. Shockingly, Meridian REM took no action to repair and paint the ceiling!The pinnacle of their deviousness was when I asked for a pre-inspection before moving out. They claimed the unit needed "medium cleaning," and naively, I dedicated a whole week and $100 on cleaning supplies to leave it spotless. However, on the day of the move-out inspection, the same representative had the nerve to say, "Worked hard and returned the apartment VERY CLEAN." Weeks later, they returned my security deposit, but to my dismay, it was accompanied by unjustified invoices. They charged me for painting the apartment and claimed it required "EXTREMELY HEAVY" cleaning, despite my efforts and expenses to leave it pristine.I strongly advise against renting from Meridian REM, as they will take advantage of you at every opportunity, leaving you financially burdened and emotionally drained. Spare yourself the agony and find a reputable company that values its tenants and treats them with respect.

Customer service is awful. Property agents are unresponsive. Calls aren't returned. No one seems to know anything about their properties. We were going to rent a place but are glad they didn't return our calls because now we know what service we would have gotten.

Terrible. I live next door to a property they manage and have had to call several times about the gardeners using a gas powered leaf blower in the city ( next door to my house). Not only are the gardeners violating a city ordinance, but the noise level is unbelievable. This property management company has done nothing to address the problem.

I don't want to get to specific because these people will surely retaliate against me. The last thing you will ever get from Meridian is good customer service. They would never admit to being wrong about something and Yelp seems to be the only recourse available to you.

I moved into Villa Flores a little over a month ago, and it was a smooth experience. The property manager, Summer, is super helpful and easy to communicate with when dealing with regular communication and maintenance inquiries.The complex and buildings are old, but the buildings and grounds are kept up pretty well. The landscaping and pool are great additions. The units are nothing fancy, but for how old they likely are, they're about what I expect. When I moved in, it actually felt like someone really had come in and cleaned it well/painted, etc. before I got there.The neighborhood at the foot of the Riviera is really nice. You are two blocks from the Santa Barbara Bowl, across the street from Santa Barbara High School, and in just a nice, chill part of town.

Our experience has been great with meridian. Our previous manager and now our current one have been amazing. Thank you all the meridian staff. We are so grateful to live in this beautiful apartments.
